CWC Master Chest Update

Hey guys has anyone established what the "increased rewards" for a master chest actually means in the Clockwork City update? Saw it in the patch notes under exploration. Is there a chance of gold gear now or is it just double purple rewards or something?

I got two purple overland set items from a master chest in wrothgar the other day. They used to just give one set item right?

Yes it's one now. Playing on console.

I'm assuming it's a chance of 2 purples instead of one. Gold items don't drop from chests, you can only get them from leaderboards or from the Golden vendor on weekends.

Even if it was a 1% chance of a gold from a master chest I'd take it over not at all

I wish gold could drop whole new reason to farm as it stands now i see a chest ask myself any motifs drop nope and good or valuable sets nope.... pass and leave chest and not bother wasting the time

I think I have gotten 2 Set Items from a Master chest before this patch. It might have been just two purples, something was coming along to bother me after I opened that chest

With the "Treasure Hunter" passive active, i've gotten 2 purple set items from chests before this patch.
