5 nmg and 5 hunding rage stamina nb?

I already have 5 nmg using three medium armor and two daggers. Thinking about making 4 medium hunding rage(divines) and one hunding rage bow(sharpened) so I have 5 set bonus going whether I use my duel wield or my bow abilities.

Wanted to get some people's thoughts on it. I know maelstorm bow is the best but will be a long time til I can beat vma.

Does it also make sense to make armor legendary? Doesn't seem like a massive bonus on armor.

If you don´t want to grind your hears out for BiS (Best In Slot) I would suggest the following:
(The budget setup/the least timeconsuming)
* 5 Hundings Rage/NMG (Chest, waist, boots, legs, hands)
* Random Sharpened Bow backbar (trait can vary but not the most importan bit here)
* 3 Agility (Necklace + 2 rings. Robust trait if you can find them. Doesn´t cost that much these days in the guildstores)
* 2 Leki´s Dagger on frontbar: Leki´s has a nice weapondamage bonus as it´s 2nd piece.
* Monster helmet of your choice.

With only 7 armor slots, you'd be unable to maintain a good uptime on the NMG proc as you'll be swapping weapons between almost every attack. You can get away with it if you use a dropped set that has jewelry, but you can't do it purely with crafted sets.

You know that 2-piece shacklebreaker has a good weapon damage bonus as well, a good substitute for Leki's dagger & the best part is it's craftable in Vvardenfell.

You know that 2-piece shacklebreaker has a good weapon damage bonus as well, a good substitute for Leki's dagger & the best part is it's craftable in Vvardenfell.

It was the first "budget-setup" that poped into my mind. I used it back in the days when I didn´t have the BiS gear

If you do trials, you can go with something like this:

5x Vicious Ophidian: 3x jewelry, 1x dagger main bar, 1x armor piece
5x Hunding: 1x dagger main bar, 1x bow 2nd bar, 4x armor pieces
2x Kra'gh: shoulder and helm

All in medium.

If you don't do trials, you can replace VO with Briarheart (you can farm it in Wrothgar or purchase it).

Hunding can be replaced with NMG if you're playing with another stam DPS.

If you replace Kra'gh with another monster set (Velidreth, Selene, ...), be sure you get enough physical penetration from other sources (CPs, mundus, sharpened weapons).

It's best to buff the dual wield bar as high as possible since the bow bar DOTs would be active while you use dual wield/ nightblade skills on the dual wield bar. A quick and easy setup might be

Nightmother's bow + 4 pieces of NMG armor
2 Hundings dual wield weapons + 3 pieces of Hundings armor
3 pieces of Agility jewelry

You would have 5 seconds of NMG debuff active while you gain the Hundings buff on the dual wield bar.

But it was mentioned earlier you'd ultimately want vicious ophedian jewelry + 2 VO armor pieces and a monster helmet set.

Well I already have nmg on two daggers and three nmg armor. Was going to have four armor hundings rage and then maybe make the bow the fifth. I have qty 3 jewelry as agility set in epic already.

By doing that now as the fifth I can fire my dot skills(caltrops and arrows) then switch over to my dw and get all the other attacks in since DOTs would have the stats when I fired them(299 bonus damage). Would that not work?

I know VO sets and monster sets are key eventually along with maelstrom bow but until I can get items good enough to be able to do the veteran dungeons I can't see how to get those. Don't want to do SO trial a hundred times to get the VO set til I can roll through it without holding others back.

Yes. That's what they were suggesting. Fire of Dots then get to the fully load DW bar.

And don't get frustrated...your build will never be perfect, although it will become for refined over time to your gameplay. Once its perfect then a new patch wil scew it up.

My new favorite is Spriggans and Briarheart, but it has taken forever to farm the BH...so Hunding's works well there.

Briarheart looks good. Has heavy Kra'gh head just need medium or light shoulder.
Thinking having jewelry weapon and one piece Briarheart, Kra'gh and rest Hunding. If Hunding proc will +weapon damage also be up on bow bar?

Khajiit NB cp 585 is it dagger/ dagger or can other weapon be used as well?
Who traits on weapon? lots of conflicting data around, crafted can be anything including nirnhomed
For the Briarheart its more relevant because of the high cost
This is my first stamina build so feel a bit lost.

Has an DK I leveled up to, probably go budget on her as I probably make her tank primarily and mostly need the dd set for overland.

What i using on my stamina teplar is briar jewelery + 2 daggers, infused with poisn enchant in main hand precise with weapon dmg on ofhand), veldreth moster set ( both medium divines), and bow on offbar ( maelstrom is best, but master from vDSA is not bad too or any random ) and have 5 armor set for variabilty (its bc armor is most easy part of sets) for trials with full penetration using vicous ohpidian, for group or solo using night mother ( craftable and give penetretion with 100% uptime) or sunderflame (only if you using heavy attacks lot) or you can use any medium what you want, i dont recomended spriggan, it have lots of penetration but other set bonuses are not so good , compare to nightmather ,sunderflame or two fanged snake. and you can alwasy take Kra'gh isted Veldreth to compensate penetration. and dont forget on mundus stone you can pick warrior ( wpn dmg) or lover (penetration). I use warrior for trials, Lover for other content. with briar+ nightmother +lover mundus i hit 30k on skelton solobuffed, with briar + nightmother+warrior mundus hit 46k on skeleton with trial group

What is great on briar have asu main set is this 5 set bonus is proc teh n if it proc and you swap on bow bar you stil have this bonus from it.

Ty, if I go briar + nightmother + Kra'gh that trait to use on weapons?
Nirnhoned dagger and Precise bow in night mother.
However for the briarheart weapon i would like some options, paying 200K for 100 more dps is a bit stupid.
is axe an option see some uses it and its cheaper.

still this some infuse in main hand precise in ofhand, and about weapons prices, dont forgot on new trasmuting thingy, you can buy cheap crap trait weapon and chage it for trait which you need. And ybout weapon type some1 prefer dagger + axe, i prefer dagger + dagger, or dagger + sword if cannot get dagger which i want. Dagger + dagger have best dps result , dager + axe/sword are similiar but little worst ase daggers.

infused wepon in mainhad with poisne echant can you givee over 1k+ dps only from this enchatn on longer fight

Will anyway make an hurdling + agility option for it for dk as I plan to use her as tank later on.

well hunding + agiliy is best and cheaper set which you can get, depend on if you have or dont have moster set, without moster set i recomend 5x hunding 3x agility (jewelery robus ) and 4x night mother or kvatch gladiator, if you have moster set its 5xHR +3x agilty + 2x Shacklebreaker or Mechanical Acuity (for DW setup)

And its some way hov i lvleling my DK which now is tank

Yes, used that for leveling, has plenty of monster sets just not used them outside of head for 1 piece bonus on magic users, think I go Kra'gh on NB, thinking of using night mother + monster + agility + 2 hurdling. Probably other pieces night mother than the first so I can swap around if needed.

I have gone through this progression over the past month. NMG and Hundings is great to start...once you go through tortuous path farming Briarheart, however, you will love it. I am running Spriggans /Briarheart / and testing monster sets. I love my stam sorc.

Shacklebreaker 2 piece is much easier to get than Leki's

Only make something gold after you've used it a while and like it In addition to the obvious reason, doing that also prevents you from improving someting to gold it only to realize you crafted it at level one or without a trait, lmao.
