    Yes, I can confirm it drops elsewhere. In Stonefalls for sure. So I'm sure it must be all zones then..

    So your Provisioner was in Vvardenfell....
    But since there was found a cheese in a lockbox in Stonefalls as well, perhaps all Provisioners might drop it. At least it's worth investigating.

    The Stonefall drop you mentioned, it was a strongbox, yes? Do you, or your guild mate who found it, remember from which box/ place in Stonefalls it dropped (if it was a strongbox) and what lock it had (easy, advanced, master....)?

    It was a guild mate who found it. Yes, it was a strong box, I believe it was Davons Watch. No I am not sure what level of lock it was or which vendor they found it on. :smile:

    The thought I voiced earlier on hit me again and I wanted to look if it was perhaps a specific location related to privisioning. You know, because of cheese and the drop from a provisioner. Could have been a theme related drop or something.....

    I spent so much time on farming rare drops that I had neglected to actually play the game! Granted, I wouldn't mind having this cheese for my house, sooooo....

    I haven't found the Shivering Cheese, yet... however I did loot a Velothi Triptych, Waterfall, from a lockbox in Vvardenfell. It's a decent sized painting, and I was able to sell it for 175K!

    Good to see the misinformation spreading, what a wonderful community. Breton Thrones all over again.
    So... which of the above is the correct answer? Or maybe a 4th option?
    I doubt they drop from trial bosses.

    I've been farming provisionsers (1 in Grahtwood, 2 in Vvardenfell) haven't found it yet....

    I found a piece in Shornhelm, inside a nightstand in one of the locked houses near the bank.

    Finding a buyer that will pay 250k for it has been much more difficult, so if you need some cheese on PC/NA check the Imperial Trading Guild vendor in Wrothgar.

    I'm farming 5 provsioners in Vvardenfell, plus all the lockboxes, every day. Nothing.

    I'm not going to doubt people have found it, but it seems ZOS has figured out some way for these things to avoid farmers. Yup. *nods*

    So, I'm actually finding lockboxes in Vvardenfell this week, and the Provisioners are alive most of the time. Did we come up with a new "theory" on Shivering Cheese?

    I just got one tonight out of a safebox in one of the merchant stalls in Rawl'kha. Didn't even know the thing existed but I'm thrilled to have found it and it is sitting in my house right now, emitting sparks & chiming softly. Sheogorath will be so pleased.

    Dunno, it was a random pick up. So, farming something. If it was another way, I have no idea what that was.
