[BUG] Crafted Twice Born Star Set Mundus Disappears

Why does the first Mundus which I chose for the character disappear, leaving only the second? When I choose the same Mundus again, it becomes the second, and the other Mundus can subsequently disappear instead.

I cannot find any cause for it. There is no identifiable context in which it occurs. In my observation, it probably does not occur while my character swaps a weapon & abilities bar with the other one (although it might disappear occasionally when the bars are swapped). It does not help any that the game software does NOT alert the player that there is currently only one (whether none) Mundus benefit in effect.

This issue most definitely needs to be remedied because the entire premise for the 5-piece Set is that the character can choose two Mundus stones for their benefits instead of only one. As it is currently designed there is no particular incentive to craft and equip any less than 5 pieces for that Set.

But you can change that. The Set benefits should be either (a) 2 pieces increase Max Magicka, 3 pieces increase Max Stamina, and 4 pieces increase Max Health; or (b) 2 pieces increase Max Stamina, 3 pieces increase Max Magicka, and 4 pieces increase Max Health, instead. Any player can equip 5 pieces of another set and at least two body armor and the weapon for a 3-piece TBA Set. A character using OH&S can equip as many as 4 pieces with two pieces of body armor, the weapon and a shield, for that Set -- as the player chooses.

This is an excellent set for a Healer, because The Mage can be used to increase Magicka, and The Ritual used to increases the amount of healing that abilities effect. Or the player can choose The Ritual to boost healing, and The Thief to increase the likelihood of a critical "hit" on the target for the healing ability.

First, you will lose your second Mundus stone if TBS is on your weapons and you bar swap. I wear it as a gear-only set and have no issues with it. Usually, I lose the second Mundus stone, though I have never tried selecting the same Mundus stone more than once.

Second, you can see the Mundus stone buffs by choosing in settings to show all the buffs, its either long-term or permanent buffs, I can't remember the exact term for it, but it should show your mundus stone. Otherwise, if you pull up your character info, it will show all the buffs currently active under your stats including your active Mundus stone(s).

First, in my experience, I lost the first Mundus benefit (The Mage) with a staff as the fifth piece in the TBS set. The second Mundus benefit (The Ritual) remained. Whether the loss was caused by bar-swapping, I cannot confirm. But I will act with the assumption that bar-swapping is the cause, as you aver.

For some reason or another, I have always believed that the first and second Mundus cannot be the same stone. So either I've never tried to select the same Mundus stone twice, or, perhaps I selected a Mundus stone for the first benefit, and tried to select it again, but its benefit was not added by the software as the second one.

Currently, the healer has Mighty Chudan's Epaulets (light armor with Divines), four pieces of light armor and two staves in the TBS set, and two pieces of light armor in the Elegant set with the Elegant necklace and rings. That is, two 5-piece sets and the monster shoulder piece are equipped. So, I suppose that I might find or buy two Elegant staves instead, and replace one of the Elegant body armor pieces with another in the TBS set.

Eventually, I anticipate that, if I obtain a suitable Monster hat, then the other piece of Elegant armor would need to be replaced with a piece from the TBS set, too, leaving the 3 Elegant pieces of jewelry, whether I might also have at least one Dragonstar or Maelstrom staff.

Thanks, I'm not aware whether the Game Configuration Settings (ESC menu) now includes options to display buffs on the HUD. Currently I am searching for and examining add-ons to use with this character, Srendarr among them.

Albeit, yes, when I use the View UI to examine my character's attributes, etc., I can see all of the buffs which are currently in effect -- that is why I know that the first Mundus stone which I chose is missing. Although I have Votan's Twice-Born Star Reminder (add-on) installed, I don't believe that I have enabled it yet for the Breton Templar that I'm playing as a healer.

    Thank-you for your reply.
