This is a Joke 36gb update after patch?

Something *** up after the patch and forced my client to repair itself now its got 36gbs to download till I can play.

    But then if I cancel the download reload the client it says play click play and then it gets jammed in login screen loading my file size still says 100+gb so what is this 36gb its attempting to download?

    The patch is 3GB.

    Mine said it was downloading 36+gb, while the status bar was moving, and it was claiming ~25mb download speed.
    Then it said it was periodically downloading several more 1+gb pieces as it was working it's way to 100% installed.

    I don't put much faith in download/install graphics and dynamic status stats.
    The problem with society these days is that no one drinks from the skulls of their enemies anymore.

    Actually the game launcher is checking all files to see if they are changed and downloads only what it needs. You may see a number of "jumps" on that bar, as the actual size will be much smaller. Just let it run.

    Having Downloaded, I now get a Crash Report when I try to run from launcher....
    Error 6 it says, but doesn't help me get in.

    Got to love ZOS ability to patch.

    yup, something funky is going on. My launcher has been stuck at 30% for an hour now. Prior to that I tried restarting both the installer and windows, with no luck. Made a thread asking for help and people telling me it will take 1.5 hour I just have to let it do it's thing..... O.O It's ridiculous.

    I came home got message that it needed to repair, afterward its downloading 36GB at 2.5 m/s that is 4 hours.
    I fully agree we should get one day extra with the witch festival
    Grinding just make you go in circles.
    Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    Guys can we have an update, should we be doing this full update or are you working on a patch to fix the mistake that has been made.

    The fact so many of us have the issue screams that you have added a bug, so please respond so we all know where we stand.

    I don't mean to be a *** or anything but I'm not stupid...lol, the game is downloading 36gbs right now at 1.5mbs it stopped during patching the client crashed I reloaded it, it asked me to repair client I clicked repair it went through the files then phase 2 it went 15gbs in stopped completely at 0.0mbs while the bar was still going up in % then it reached 100% and started downloading 36gbs of data that it has already downloaded. It is an issue with their repair tool I've googled it it has been an issue since launch.

    And I know exactly why this happened aswell. I closed ESO last night and it was still showing as running in my task manager while I was doing the patches it is a problem on their end that the game after closing sometimes doesn't close fully and the client when updating thinks the game is still running and it *** with the patch that is being installed.

    So next time when a DLC comes out I will make sure I check my task manager, Honestly these shouldn't be issues so long after the games release. This repair tool has been a problem for along time a simple google search will show you that.

    Well I closed down ESO but had the launcher running and came home to having to repair, I restarted the launcher as usually its the launcher who messes up but it could nut update and then repair followed by an 36GB download 24GB now, still 2.5 hour to go.

    Grinding just make you go in circles.

    I'm being forced to download an entire reinstall of the game after an updating error.

    Thanks ZOS......maybe I can play tomorrow after 20 hours of downloading.
