Is anyone else a little disappointed with how diluted the loot pool of plunder skulls is this year?

I think it's good that zos have added more potential loot to the pool such as the new masks and some furnishing recipes. However, I think they've added far too many 'filler' items like all those green branches that nobody wants. About 75% of all skulls have had green furnishings for me. What are your thoughts?

I see where you're coming from, though even at the current rate I can't see Hollowjack breaking 1.5/2k in 6 months time. But the used match sticks are so numerous they are making my yard look like a proverbial dead forest... Insandros✭✭✭✭Dunno how it was last year, since i was on a break from the game, just did this year, so i had to do the chiavement, got it yesterday, so i got what, for now about 115 plunders if i take those i got on a second toon... i got 3 Mummy Witch motif for furnisher craftin, 1 runic Mask, lots of purple food recipe, tons of Hallowjcks motif, at the point i had to let them go at even lesss worth price on trader so i can get rid off, i'm sure i got about 2 full set of it at least. etc..etc..... i'm pretty satisfied with it, i wouldn't expect to loot 10 Gold rare runic boxes out of that small ammount, it wouldn't make sens to the word rare. After playing this game for quite a while, seing ZoS going with their RNG percentages as i ran vMA for exactly 100 times and got bored with, how many times did i ran lots ofdungeons for weapon drops etc... i even consider myself to get at least one runic box out of 100 plunders, which at least one mask is what i wanted. But yeah if you only grabed 20 of them only, don'T expect to get all the fat loots in that narrow amount, whichis common sens. Glockcoma725✭✭✭OtherDidn't play last year so I can't really comment on that aspect, but as far as my personal skull experience went. by 40 skulls I had all the recipes, by 60 I had all the motifs, and finally on my 73rd plunder skull I finally got my sweet sweet thicket mask.

Why are there even branches in the skulls anyway? I don't look at a branch and go, "Oh, that's the perfect Halloween/Witches Festival decoration." They're just sticks, and we've put so many of them into my guild's bank now that it would fill my entire small home (Humblemud) to use them.
I wouldn't mind this nearly as much if the skulls weren't dropping branches. If they contained, say, more furnishings that were actually more appropriate for the theme of the event, then I would be much happier. As it is, I'm mostly making use of the extra xp to level my second account to CP 160.

Can't wait for the new life festival as I am sure they plan to add the *** to that one as well and given how long those quests already were to get a box it will be that much more painful.
Anybody else think that housing items have just become a nice excuse to slip more *** in the loot pool?I am currently worried for the future of ESO. Population seems like it is in free fall and the cancellation of the North America in-person gathering feels very much like pulling the plug. Kudos on fixing the in-game economy though. Clearly whatever gold shenanigans were happening the last couple years are fixed.0 -
