Training Gear pre & post cp 160

Appreciate the help in advance!

Is getting the material for CP 140 training gear a good idea to help with leveling even CP 160 onward to 660? I'm on my way through the 1-100 CP levels and am thinking about the best "bang for my buck". I need to save money and materials so I can get some help crafting my CP 160 gear but am thinking it would be good to invest in some 140 as I grind towards 660 as well. Thoughts?

Training gear is best if you are killing a lot, basically grinding killing mobs. The benefits diminish if doing quests to level up.

Great if you have the matts and are grinding. Being I had plenty of matts I did craft a set of training gear back when I returned to the game and needed lots of CP, and again, was grinding mobs.

Just my opinion.

If you must then craft 150 CP training gear, not 140 or 160. An alternative is to buy 160 CP overland sets in training, you'll find they're actually quite cheap since nobody wants them and people are farming them constantly.

That was an very good idea, note that its lots of dimishing return on cp, pretty pointless to grind in my opinion.
On the other hand if you do overland stuff like farm plunder skulls or overland gear or getting skyshards on new character you can just as well wear training.
