Is Jewelcrafting Still On The To-Do List?

I remember during beta and launch that Jewelcrafting was being considered as an additional crafting profession, which makes total sense given the importance of necklaces and rings. However, nothing has materialized in a year. Any hope of seeing it anytime soon?

Three more items for crafting will be a balancing nightmare.
Same with spellcrafting, and on that they have already been working.
But that's also on hold.
I don't think we will see jewelcrafting anytime soon. Maybe in two years or so...Once I was a healer. Then I took a Wrobel to the knee.

Yeah, I agree with @Haxnschwammer I don't see it happening in a while. They plan on coming out with a few DLC in a couple month's from what I l know of. Plus I think the plan on expanding the world region map.0 -
