Been wanting to try leveling up lowbie this way and this weekend I finally got around to making some gear and tried queuing up.
Unfortunately it seems the queue never pops, even during prime time on Friday and Saturday night. Am I doing something wrong? Selected grab bag 10-49. Tried waiting and it would keep going for more than an hour. Also tried exiting and rejoining queue several times.

✭I spent an hour in the queue friday on a level 32 after finding no one on BWB (PC NA), and never got into a battleground.
Trying to level up assault skill line. Finally found action on Sunday but there were so few people, battles so small, that after 4 hours I only gained about 20k AP.
Pretty much the opposite experience from Midyear Mayhem. Battleground queues were instant, and BWB was so full, I got around 2 million AP in a week only playing a few hours a night.
Shame because I don't find vet PVP to be fun at all. Non-vet I actually enjoyed.0
