Dear ZOS - why can't we load any characters?

ZOS keep moving and ignoring the threads on this and I know I am not the only victim. Some of us who have been paying long term and have may crown items and achieves cannot load characters when the servers are busy. sometimes even when they are not.

It seems to be directly related to how much we have spent on crown items and have done in achieves.

Basically the character DB has become bigger than the time they allow to load it.

But they block access to support and refuse to answer threads rather than reply. I have had 2 support tickets killed and now am no longer able to access support at all. Apparently this leaves them wide open legally so would be interested who else has the same problems.

I've never had a problem logging in a character and I SERIOUSLY doubt it has any correlation to how many crowns you have spent or your personal achievements in game. Frankly, I can't even find a way that you could have possibly made that connection at all.

Wide open legally? What are you smoking? How in the world are you connecting these dots man?

The 'size of character' dbase is based on testing load times against combo of achieves, completions and crown ownership - basically the more you have done or own on a toon the longer loading takes. By all means test and comment with some factual backing.

The legal thing is based on what my lawyer friend tells me. i.e. disclaimers have to be based on some attempt to perform according to the contract. You can't, apparently, just make up exclusions and run.

I can't imagine for a second that loading achievements takes any sort of 'oomph' at all. Loading everything on screen will take an insanely large proportion of that CPU.

    Also - wat?

    1. It takes no longer (in human perception terms) to load my main that I have played since day one than my alt that has like 6 achievement points. I'm sure there are differences, but it is like microseconds. The population of where I am loading into has FAR more impact that which character I load.

    2. I'm trying not to dismiss your "lawyer friend" outright, because I'm sure he is smart and well learned.... Good luck on getting any legal traction with this load of BS though.

Any time someone brings up contractual law on an online forum for a game, I have to stifle a chuckle. It has about as much bite as a 16 year old Shih Tzu.
