Open world PvP. Fighting of other players while leveling/farming/gathering/raiding.
Wars between guilds for hunting zones/quest zones/raiding/hate.
Territory ownership. Weekly territory siege (lasting 2h) to protect my guilds castle/town, or take a castle from the powerful guilds.
Formation of alliances. Guilds would form official ingame coded alliances out of mutual respect or common enemy.
Unique classes: 8+ classes with unique abilities, passives and stats difference.
Hardly obtained gear (not solo vMA, dolmen horse riding, 20min dungeon runs ISOLATED from enemies... all for the sake of rng fun) that lasts for months before you need to devote time to gear up for the next tier.
Championships every month (1v1) in which the best players of each class (in each server) would be awarded unique class armor, skills and global shout commands.
Real sense of adventuring in an open world in which there is no instanced content, and if you dare enter a castle, tower desert forest, ruins you have to fight hard those tough mobs in order to explore/complete quest, while fighting posdible hostile players.
And then we have that joke of a faction concept. We have the same old rng group content. The most boring open world PvE.
Whose fault is it? The player base. Give them rpg instead of mmorpg.
Why am I here and not at the games I mention? Oh well. I like nice graphics.
Assassin's Creed is around the corner. I bet I won't be back after that. Who knows. A real mmorpg might appear by that time.

I was thinking of going back to AC as well. But the reviews taught me otherwise. Its another Diablo clone. So I'm sticking to ESO with a bit of Evil Within 2 on the side. Afterall, who doesnt like a good scare on haloween?
Op, do u PVP in Cyrodiil? It’s completely different sets, and if u want to be a bomber, it’s different too.
Cyrodiil is the end game, PVE is the prelude.

Im literally burnt out on 5 classes that do the same exact play style and gearing nothing feels class specific same skill different flash of color when casting... and one class that does all 3 roles worse than the others.
Combo that with rng and nothing matters. 12 slots of clones doing exact same thing stamina rapid strikes spam magicka rage and wall sometimes clench spam or hold an attack button. Ive made all the classes mag and stam nothing feels special unique or fresh and if ot does zos finds a way to kill that spark.
Im not quitting but finding it harder and harder to remotely care about the eso future since nothing changes for the better.
Rant over have fun guys...
