Since it's - from what I was told - impossible to do this with addons, I'd like to ask ZOS to implement a simple way to select all/none addons in character selection screen.
Even better would be builtin addon profiles, but that's probably not going to happen.

victoriana-blue✭✭✭✭The add-on profiles and settings are different for each of your characters. Turning things off/on from the login screen turns the add-on off/on for every character, and while logged in your changes only affect that one character. (Which is why settings sharing add-ons also exist.) It's check boxes, so unless you're running a hundred add-ons it's a pretty quick process
