best way to grind CP with the event?

Suggestions?

I want to see how much CP I can get during this event. Unfortunately, I'm on Xbox so Skyreach and Craglorn in general lags. Would leveling work? There is also a place near a dolem in Deshaan that I try to farm at but it feels like even with the +100% exp, I only get like 2K/Kill. I've used all my "rest" so to speak.

Anyways, thoughts/suggestions?

I know on PC there's dolmen groups in several zones that are good for xp. Especially Akikir Desert

Cool. I still have part of the DC to do so I wasn't sure if that would be a decent way to level with the EXP bonus.

    Xp tips

    1. You can combine the event xp boost with other potions like psijiv ambrosia. There’s some sort of cap...I think...like 185% or something, but you have room to stack.

    2. Has your character done all the public dungeons, completing the quests, getting shards and group event skill points? The mobs are not quite as dense as skyreach, but moving slightly slower and getting some skill points can make up for it. But what makes the public dungeons a strong choice is that the 1-2 quests in each are worth a lot of xp. This helps make up for the mobs being smaller.

    3. The Alikr dolmen Zerg is one of the best xp grinds. However, you get a huge lump of xp the first time you close a dolmen, so I usually prefer to close all/most dolmens with a character before running circles. Also, there’s the fight guild daily that asks you to close three dolmens in an area. This adds some xp to running dolmens.

    4. A set of purple train gear will help a lot. I’ve personally usually used Willows Path as an all purpose training set for my toons...anyone can use it and the recovery helps move through grinds faster.

    5. When I start a run I like to run to kvatch and do the world boss daily, especially if I get Roar of the Crowds. I usually do the arena then chug my psijic right before turning it in, then I port on my xp run.

while doing alliance quests, i'll watch for those that will give high XP, and back out of it before completing it. Then I'll chug an ambrosia to increase the gain & go back into the quest & turn it in...best are usually the climatic quests of the sub-zones...those are often high XP...plus if you do it while you have some enlightenment saved up, the CP's just roll right in...less frequent, but still not rare, are the side quests that give high xp too...if you can get several of these to the point of turn-in, you can chug and then you can turn in one side quest after another and you can get quite a few done that way in the ambrosia's 30 minutes...psijic is good for 50%, and mythic is great at 150% but so rare as to not even be worth the bother...my "poison" of choice is the middle one, the aetheric ambrosia that gives 100% and only takes a psijic and a diminished aetheric dust that you can buy for 50 writ vouchers...with the passive perks, you can make 4 pots for each psijic/dust combo...

Normal maelstrom. Decent xp and a skull per round. Solo as well

I will also say Skyreach Catacombs, public dungeons and dolmen runs. The plus side of going the dungeon route is more skulls. At least from my own experience. But also like davey1107 said, if your toon needs to do these dungeons. Now is a pretty good time, since there is an influx of people, you are more likely to get help. Even if you don't party up per say. You can still run with them.
