Instead of providing a hide vampirism feature they should fix the real problem: make it look good (on khajit).

So...theres only a very small amount of vampire books/ movies in the world that portray vampires in permanant states of horrendous appearance (or puuuurdy for u twolight kids out there). Many movies show vampires really only looking like freaks right before their about to feed or are fighting. So why dont they give us a permanant eye color depending on our stage. Then give us normal skin until were in combat, they could even give us other kind of "addon" to denote us as vampires and only give it to us while were in combat. Maybe a special stance, a set of bat wings that pop out of our backs, turn our hair white, beard white and skin white, maybe a swirl of bats at all times while in combat. Im only throwing out the general idead of a in combat appearance as seperate from non combat, not that i want batwings, or swarms of bats...

It would allow us to look like a normal person...show off that sweet facepaint my nord wants to show so badly.

Also do away with stages or reverse them, make it so that we have to feed in order to maintain stage 4, instead of the other way around.

Last suggestion, give vamps a vampire form ultimate, working exactly like WW. With its own skills...problem is here that most players choose vampire for mistform, not for vampire passives.

You could TAKE AWAY 10% regens to magic while vamp and id still do it for that stupid skill.

Take mist form and give it to another line, different appearance, and different skill name. That way the vampire line would be much mo betta as a choice...not a nessecity.

Posting this here cause i'm not 100% sure where this should go.

Is there ANY way to BE a vampire without atleast the skin/fur/scale alteration color? while still staying in stage 4?

I made a Khajiiti NB Med armor Vampire, i made a beautiful (orange) tiger, and i don't want to stop being a vamp, but the fur discoloration is kind of a... turn off, because it almost completely hides my stripes, it's more like a layer of clear-white paint over my characters fur, as opposed to 'the fur decaying' because the black stripes look like they're under a layer, instead of 'part' of it.

And I love the eyes - but my khajiit now just looks like a white panther.. :/

Is there some potion, crown store item, etc?

Get the amber plasm skin. It will look great on your toon (according to your description).

    it's worth it!

They need to do something about it or at the very least make tattoos look good. That does not even make sence. The ink in my skin has vamprisim to?

You can also purchase a skin from the crown store, when they are available.

Amberplasm is the best imo because you get your tattoos and original look back, just with orange splooge all over you.

Like many before me have expressed I really would love a "normal skin" or a option to hide vamp. Even if said options kept the eyes red to signify that you have been cursed.

I think vampires should have an active "Illusion" skill that hides vampirism for 30 seconds... it could also suppress all buffs and debuffs associated with vampirism. As an alternative to an active skill, it could be set up as a toggle.

It could also be tied to the justice system and be used to hide a bounty. Expanding on this idea: I would love to see vampires and werewolves some how tied to the justice system. For example, when an NPC witnesses an in-form werewolf or non-hidden vampire, it would automatically add a fugitive-level bounty. A werewolf or vampire could then remove or reduce the bounty level by simply transforming or using the "Illusion" skill while out of sight.

As many have said, skins do the trick.

... however, it would be neat to have a "clear" skin. Perhaps by completing a vampire quest-line or leveling to max

Werewolves should be able to use their ultimate without transforming into some smelly dog.

my sNB khajiit have same issue. I would love to see this issue resolved at some point. Anyways, if that vampire from Rivenspire (Ravenwatch or something) could hide his vampirism at will, why cant we, the soulshriven that defeated Molag Bal, liberated Wrothgar and saved Vvardenfell from destruction, use such a petty thing as hiding our true nature while among other folk?

Verandis is a powerful mage who only hides himself when in public. Maintaining an illusion like that permanently would be impossible. How would you explain fully stamina specced characters also being able to cast such perfect illusion magic?
