What is the most expensive in-game House? By in-game i mean that cost gold. So I guess what is the most expensive house you can buy with gold.

✭✭✭✭✭Doesn't matter. Even if you buy a sprawling manor, the ridiculously low item limit even when subscribed will slowly suck your will to design and enjoy your house.
This is even harder with the huge houses as there really is no fair ratio between surface area and item count. This makes some of the smaller homes the best deal because you can fill them up pretty convincingly within the item count.
Until ZOS stops its item count stinginess, housing has limited enjoy-ability.2 -

Medium house for about 300k gold gets you 400 item slots (with ESO+) which seems to be the sweet spot for creative decorating.
