Losing text chat when swapping alts

Would it be possible to maintain text chat history (especially guild chat) when swapping toons? You guys know what I'm talking about, right?

Ulfgarde✭✭✭✭✭If you're on PC, pChat seems to help alleviate this. It retains your history quite well between alts, but goes away when you reload ui.
