There are theories about what's going on with the loading screen issues in Cyro, nothing that ZOS has copped to yet. But until it's sorted out, you will have to deal with. Just know it's affecting everyone, not just you.
For some players, however, turning off all or as many as possible add-ons may help. Also if there are people in your group who have gone offline and have not returned after a reasonable time as passed, it's good idea to remove them from group.But regardless, I have seen this issue plague a group mercilessly. Some players will get it, then it rolls over and hits another 2-3 players, and so on.PC-NA since 2015. Tired and unimpressed.0 -

If I activate a gap closer or if someone does the same to me (or I get hit by Meteor or whatever) I get the loading screen then sometimes I'm falling through the sky and then the death recap of whatever killed me.

As other say its because of heavy load. You also get an brief load screen then repairing the side doors on keeps.
Grinding just make you go in circles.

✭Gap closers around Sej often ends in loading screen. I also noticed that if the target dies or becomes unavailable during the gap closer the game seems to have troubles.A is for Atronach.

✭It usually happens during a keep flip around any asset that gets reset or changed suddenly. So when a wall goes up, or a banner changes from blue to yellow, or the higher level keep protrusions at the corners disappear... if you are anywhere near those when they change, you are basically waving your bare ass in the face of ZOS devs daring them to load screen you.

Because the servers favor the opponent, and you just have to deal with it.
Besides, combat, (with one of your feet wedged in a trashcan), builds character.
The Devs are doing it for our own good.
