There was levitation emote before but it was cut because allow avoid damage somehow in PvP, the same goes to Twilight Shard memento which allow hovering animation, someone found way to exploit it to avoid damage and flying part was cut from memento.

I really hope devs just fix that's bug instead of cut feature out and return levitation for RP purpose.

This is my favorite personality and it would be so awesome if you could levitate. It has so much potential and it's just sad that nothing else is being done with it. I love the /read emote, it's a lot of fun to use when my character is just standing around.

I still hold hope!
