✭✭✭I would be hesitant to have ZOS give players any type of moderation rights, even to very “respected” players. I say keep the power in the devs hands. Avoid opening up any can of worms.
I do feel maybe ZOS could be more aggressive when it comes to cheating, bots, and any shady addons. And they could probably have a more open and more frequent open dialogue with the community about it. That’s just my opinion. Other than that there are no real consequences for breaking ToS in ESO. Most bans are actually temporary suspensions, and any real permanent ban is circumvented by simply purchasing the game again and creating a new account. Isn’t ESO many times on sale for very low price?

Yes, I agree this should never be! You have report use it. Players should never have power over other players because they will abuse that power. As they have already abused it with add-ons and so forth.
This is your third post on the subject which I don't really understand. Why you are not with one of the 2 posts you already started. In one you have a gm in action, which is great. Though posting the same subject matter over several threads just seems off. They already took action, and will keep doing so.
No offense but there are a lot of issues with the game. To me mainly the servers, and the severe unbalanced classes, plus the sneaked in nerfs imo.

✭✭✭✭✭Interesting interview but I am shocked to hear that people seem to think CE users should be EVER given a second chance.
Why?
I can understand how someone who found an abusive build or some glitch could be given a warning but that is just using elements of ZOS's broken game. So you find out a way to give yourself extra mundus stones or keep a 5 piece bonus while not wearing that full set. Yes, you are exploiting but you should be probably given a warning if caught. Sometimes the game can bug out and an effect (like speed) can be stuck on you accidentally. It happens.
But cheat engine? Come on. You can't accidentally type in "ESO cheats" into google, download a program, figure out how to use it and then load into PvP with it running. At that point you are doing something you know is against the TOS and you don't care.
Why would ZOS want someone like that ever playing the game? I surely don't.
There needs to be a range of offenses from bad sportsmanship (running an enemy scroll back to their base) to terrain glitching, to exploiting to full on cheating. Full on cheating should result in a permaban every time.0
