I want to rest my skill points so I can assign skillpoints from unused skills onto crafting skills. However the actionbar setup I have now is what I will still like to use, I want to have the action bars stay the same. Will the actionbars be wiped when I reset my skillpoints?

Yes so write down what you have so you can replace after reset.

If you use Dressing Room your saved sets will remain as before, so be sure to change any skills out that you morph differently.

Yep. Before I found out about the various skillbar-saving addons I would take screenshots just before retraiting.

Also for what it's worth, your skillbars also get wiped if you simply unmorph your skills.I don't agree with this functionality and feel it should be changed. I mean you're not forgetting your skills, just changing their functionality.

2 things you can do is, 1- using an addon like Iakoni's Skill changer, even when you reset stuff it stays int eh extension setup, so once you'Re done respecting, you reselect your setup and it places back the skill, this is, when and if you relearned the same stuff, if diff morph it'll place it of course with new morpg, if it's a skil you haven't pickup at all, well that slot will remain empty i presume. Second option if you don't wanna use an addon, simply make screenshots, pressing Screen Capture/PrtScr on your keyboard will place screenshots of what you took in game, in your document's folder, in the ESO subfolder in the screenshots folder. So put on front bar, PrntScrn, then swap back bar and PrtScrn again. You can also use this Screenshot thing you back up your CP Allocations. Tht is if you'Re on PC, if you'Re on console, i presume only options to you are either take a smartphone or tablet, take picture of the screen with your bars or the old ways, writing them on a piece of paper or simply use a Build Creator like https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Special:EsoBuildEditor and put it your setup for bars and save it.

Once again the amazing modding community does what paid devs couldn't! Thank you everyone, I will install on of these addons, don't know why I didn't think of this before!

    Yes...

Is that really such a problem to remember all the skills that you use? If you don't use something, you probably don't need it...

Man you guys are dumb at times, it's simple as knowing what you use and slotting them again.

Calling your fellow forum users for dumb isn't the best way to partake in a debate. Well that's just my opinion anyways... But on topic: to lose the actionbar setup is an simply an inconvenience and an unnecessary annoyance. There's also the possibility that I had just setup my actionbars to try out something completely new, and not an actionbar I have been playing for years... Anyways the problem is solved, I will use addons that doesn't erase it.
