Pony pets freeze when idle

They stop in mid step and don't go into their idle animations. Looks really stupid. That's one way to stop crown store sales- bugged out items you charge extra for.
Deselecting and selecting again fixes it for about 30 seconds. One friend I play with has the same issue, and it's visible to both us and other players.

Appleblade✭✭✭✭✭Did some testing. It's distance, not time. It's fine if you just move a little, but go more than 30 feet or so and it bugs on idle. Feels like pointer issues. Switching to rhe running animation makes it lose track of the idle animation.
All other pets are fine. I don't have the fox to try.
Just to put it out there, I was going to buy that dark elk, but not now. In game bugs are bad enough, but now with the extra crown store items?Edited by Appleblade on October 14, 2017 2:43AM0
