Enough is Enough! Zos/ESO Times/Crown Store

I'm starting to get annoyed with the fact that times in ESO are not advertised no one seems to know the actual Time Zone that is used (When I was in Swtor everyone knew to run off pst). Now sometimes we get pst, est or gmt. It's really starting to get annoying knowing when stuff is going to be removed from the Crown Store because of this. Like the Grim Harlequin Motif, we're told that the item is going to be in the store from Oct 9- Oct 13. So any normal person would think okay I have until midnight of Oct 13 not until 10 est. It's extremely annoying enough that you're messing with us by having these limited time stuff and not giving us the prices in advance so we can budget. Yes I know it may seem weird as hell but some people that play your game actual have to pay rent, buy food, work, etc..., so yes we have to budget. I understand that you have to make money and that's why the prices in the Crown Store have risen so much more than when I started playing a year ago. I mean come on a "special mount" was only 2500 now its anywhere from 4000-6000 in crowns.

So what would we as players actually like to see you guys do?

1. Tell us extactly when an item hits the store and when it's being removed
2. Start using the same time zone when advertising in forums/announcments
3. Give us the prices of the items in advance when you send out the start of the month look at the cool stuff that's only coming out for a few days but you know you want to waste all your money on it.
4. Give us exact times when the Luxury Decoration and Gold Jewerly Vendors arrive and leave on the weekends (you can't get a straight answer out of anyone in game of when they come and leave)

I'll probably have more complaints/recommendations later but I'm extremely annoyed at you messed up my Birthday today with making me find more money to buy the one day only pony. (I was born on Friday the 13th in October with a Full Moon and have never had an unlucky Friday the 13th until today)

The Luxury Furnisher and the Golden arrive at 8 PM EDT. (I arrive about 7:45 PM EDT to the 'party' in Cicero's with the other housing geeks waiting for him to spawn!)

I am surprised to see the Grim Harlequin removed at 10 AM EDT today as well...I would have assumed it would be available all day today (EDT of course)

I would also love to know prices in advance, especially on limited time items. Not everyone has unlimited funds and being able to plan at least for the coming month would be nice. Mostly, I have been saving up for another crown-only time limited house since they are so expensive.

Ah, thanks for letting me know when the vendors arrive I've been told 8 and 9 pm est so I normally wait until Saturday that way I know they arrived sometime that night before.

It would be nice if they would give us a price on the monthly crown store showcase. Really I think all your points were spot on.

To be clear, Golden Cyrodiil Vendor arrives every Friday night at 8pm, leaves sometime Monday morning. I am ashamed as a PvPer to not know when she leaves Monday, so maybe another poster can tell us.

If you want to be super duper exact, there is a little 'show' of ghosts that appear near her spot, and she actually uses a portal to appear at exactly 8:10pm EST on the dot.

The only thing in your post I disagree with is the statement that mounts cost up to 6,000 crowns. As far as I'm aware the most expensive mount ever released was the white elk which cost 4,500 and the majority are under 3,000 crowns.

Everything else I agree with. While it's not technically incorrect to say an item will be available until the 13th and then remove it at 10am it is misleading. I suspect a lot of people were caught out by it. At least if they specified a time and a time zone when crown store updates will happen people would know to expect it.

Alternatively they could make more use of the count down system they have for things like the 1 day sale items, so you can see in advance exactly how long an item has left.

Actual EST? Because of the time of this writing it is 2:33 EDT and 1:33 EST.

    AM?

It's definitely 11pm in California for writs and 8pm for the fence. Did I mess up the conversion?

Correction my price on the 6000 mount was wrong, it was my fault for listening to a friend rant (it was 4500). Also I always get mixed up with est and edt so lets just go with "et" or (UTC -5:00). If I get enough clarified times I will make an actual list of them. Feel free to use whatever time zone you want just clarify which it is.

I'll stick with pacific since I just thought there was one eastern. I always subtract 3 for national sporting events and move on.

The Gold vendor in Cyrodil and Luxury Furniture vendor in Cold Harbor open at Fridays at 5pm pacific. I personally know those to be the case.
Closing times are: Monday 5 am pacific for the Gold Jewelry Vendor and Monday 9 am pacific for the furniture. As per this excellent website: http://benevolentbowd.ca

Hopefully someone who actually fights monsters will jump in regarding guild quests, pledges and bounties.

Daily quests (Writs, Pledges, World Boss quests, daily delve quest) reset at 6 am GMT on the NA servers.

This is important, because during North American summertime, they reset at 2 am EDT, but in wintertime, they reset at 1am EST.

Similarly, Guild Trader turnover is Monday 1 am GMT on the NA servers. This is Sunday 9pm EDT during the summer, and Sunday 8pm EST during the winter.

I agree they should have posted exact times but I believe all crown store items have arrived or left at 10 am US East Coast time (EDT or EST).

The in game crown store did correctly count down the time.

They really are all over the place with the time zones. They need to pick one and stick with it, IMO. This thread alone illustrates the level of confusion here.

Just use UTC or GMT in every case

I don't think the issue is time zones. The issue is not listing a time. When they list a time I believe they always specify the time zone. But, many times they just give dates and no time.
