What they should do is change Invigorating to increasing your recoveries by 0.5% of your max health, magicka, and stamina at legendary level.

Then replace Wrath with Vitalize, which would add an incremental 0.25% to Invigorating (0.25% at Rank I and 0.25% at Rank II).
That would leave Divines as the preferred trait for PVE light and medium. But makes Invigorating much more competitive for PVE heavy for both magicka or stamina users.

People need to die in PvP.

People not dying in PvP makes it boring as hell. People not dying made Destro ulti bombing groups the only way to actually make huge AP.

Me, a PvE healer with 300ms lag and no experience in PvP, could make a heavy armor Templar healer and need 5 or more people hitting me relentlessly at the same time to die and STILL put out some serious heals and damage. I would only die for EotS stacking and been zerged down.

Heavy armor had too much going for it. I had survivability, sustain AND damage/heals WHILE being able to use Harness.

Those changes are not good, they are AWESOME.

Now we just need some Medium armor adjusting to make it suck less and PvP might have some MEANINGFUL choices again.

Awesome job, Zenimax! 1 year too late, but better late than sorry.

The problems with medium will stay if there isn't something new.

All it does is hurt builds that weren't using the sets that buff weapon/spell dmg (though they all seem to be weapon DMG)

It just makes those (seeing as fury etc are weapon DMG) heavy magicka builds migrate back to LA, or reroll to the fury type meta.

Heavy sets without weapon/spell DMG become even weaker in PvP

They should look at certain heavy armor sets and adjust those instead of poking around with the heavy armor passives. And look at blocking too.

Once again, instead of buffing under-performing items/skills, they decide to nerf something instead.
They could have buffed light and medium armor instead of nerfing heavy, but no .....
Apparently they think we'll have more fun if we're dying more, and if fights are longer or more frustrating.

The Nerfapocalypse continues. Wheeeee fun. :/ Can't wait for my characters to be weakened yet again.

Wearing heavy armor doesn't make it take 5 people relentlessly hitting you at the same time for you die. Not even close.

You can still die - easily - in seconds while wearing full heavy armor. I know this from personal experience.

So what ever player it is you are fighting that takes 5 relentless players to kill you can be certain it's not the heavy armor doing it but something else. Because I've been reading this thread and the benefits of Heavy Armor are being absurdly exaggerated here. It doesn't even give players a fraction of the invincibility that's being touted.

HA only is a quarter more tanky than medium without the cost reduction or damage of medium plus evasion dodge etc. Now Light armour can still hit max resistances if built for it then you can have all the la passives.

Absolutely this. Passive resistance doesn't count for much in Cyrodiil.

If someone is tough to kill it is because they are actively mitigating damage. Knowing when to shield-up, dodge, or block is going to mitigate far more damage than a bit of extra armor and health ever will.

Add skillful use of these mechanics to other tools such as permablock builds and resto/S&B/tree ult spam and that's how you get unkillable players. Not because of heavy armor passives.

That's conjecture if sustain will actually be improved. If it does I fear a wave of Troll tanks and the following nerf threads.

Of course its not an end all be all, I just see out lying builds hurting.

Now I am considering fury or 7th

As OP as heavy armor is compared to medium/light, Wrath passive isnt the true problem, the heavy armor sets like ravager and seventh legion etc is the problem, they give wayyyy too much wep dmg for way too much uptime.

id rather they replace it with health regen, shield, or any kind of defensive bonus, stackable up to 20 times, but NOT armor/resistance, the ceiling for it is too low and it would be useless. (unless they make the armor/resistance ceiling as high as DPS ..... aka, remove it alltogether :D )

I would take resists even. You can rearrange the rest of your kit to include less resists, which would be nice.

If they replace wrath's damage buff with a sustain increase it will do nothing but boost HA survivability . It will not make a difference for those complaining that players need to die , it will make it worse . HA builds will tank for longer periods just not doing a lot of damage . Those builds will never be corrected until they address block and block cost .

The EOTS nerf also makes more sense now.

Depending, of course, on what replaces Wrath. It could easily be worse, so I'll just hold off on my excitement over here.

good. pvp is borderline stupid with the heavy armors everywhere...so dumb...

That was last patch. Heavy is dying down in open world Cyrodiil, it's already useless in no CP BG, the only thing it is good at is dueling.
