IMO, our homes are far too quiet and devoid of life. I'd love to buy a bard, chef, maid... I don't even need them to do much, just move around a bit, talk occasionally, make some background noise, sing/play instruments. Tythis and Nuzhimeh are great, but they're silent and stationary.

I'd also love for the pets to be able to move around a bit - no dog in history sat still this long.

Seems like it would be an easy money-spinner in the crown store for ZOS to introduce some live-in companions. And no, the mournfully swaying Soul Shriven dude doesn't count. Yikes.

(Before you say "Reo, you should get some real friends," lemme say: unless you're in an RP guild, no one is going to mill around just to fill your empty, echoing halls. And, with friends like mine, I just end up spending all my time turning my lights back on. Jerks.)

I can understand the feeling, why having a big house when there is nobody in most of the time? Some NPCs walking around and reacting on presence like elsewhere in the game would indeed be nice.

Why not a DLC giving house personal and interaction with them, the list of possibilities is endless and there maybe others willing to spend some crowns on that

I did same discussion in crown store https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/370428/can-add-more-npcs-for-homes#latest

    didnt see housing theme...

    as i wrote there...

I would love to get more NPC like: stuart, stable master, house keeper, guards, mercenaries, bullies , deadras , atronachs and etc. (ideas are endless xP )

I even wound buy them from crown store OR u can make them like hirelings with every month pay in gold. They dont need to do anything just few dialog phrases and greetings.

Guys all who read this please post reply (atleast type +1). So GMs will know how many whould love that.

Bard! I had the most awesome thing happen to me once, I ported from an inn to my home and the bard's music ported with me. I thought ZoS had implemented something cool, but alas, it was a fluke.

    Bards please!

For the right price I will come stand in your house for awhile.

No funny business though. If your looking for more than friendly company I'd suggest going to the local pub.

Having hirelings in our homes would be fantastic. I would even suffer an inconvenience like the Assassins Guild daily supply person, where I have to go to pick up my mats from them in my home in order to have this. Giving up having my mats in the mail in order to have a handful of NPC's hanging out at my home is fantastic.

The housing editor could have been a concierge type person with an NPC style menu.

I think it would also be cool if in the log-in screen, we right click on the character name, and have them hanging out at permanent residence. And when we go in we can adjust where that character is, and what pose they are doing.

ie.. have my dunmer sisters waiting on my bed, chilling by the bar, sitting by the pool, or manning the ballista

You mean having your other toons/characters/alts (whatever you call them) hanging out at your house while you're not using them? I like! It'd be amusing to see them all side-by-side.

You can borrow my friends. They'll turn it on/off so fast you'll think you bought a strobe.

... No, really. They're good people. Promise. Take em... Please?

Yes. This is exactly what I mean. And when you are logging off, you get the option to send your character home

It may be a good idea, but i think it will be hard realize. To turn ur playable chat to NPC back and forward every time u log in...
Lets start with normal NPCs and then will see how things work.

This one requires an argonian slave to sweep my veranda.

Also a bard in my bar would be nice. All tythis does is sullenly write his notes and refuse to get me a beer.

Anything to be expected on the NPC companion side with Clockwork City release?

Guess no, otherwise I would already have read something... :(

I haven't seen anything about companions in the PTS notes.

But, hey. Skooma bubblers will emit a plume of purple smoke. So, there's that? Yea, I've got nothing.

I dunno if it is just me but banker and merchant when I am near them they talk, well mostly just the banker. How many times has he talked to me about the corral heart?

Can we talk about how the banker, the guy who has access to all your stuff, has served time in White Rose? I don't care if it's a horrible place - why did I hire a convict as my banker?!?
