Would love to have an AH that has like a max of 5-10 slots where we could list items with a starting bid ending bid and a buy out price. We could also put a limit on how long the item will be up for 1 day-30 days. This way you have a chance to get an item for super cheap if you bid and no one else puts a bid in.
This would not stop the guild trader system(I hate it btw) but would add in a fun new way to sell stuff for people that are not in one.
Could be a cool area like a stage or a hall that people go to to list things and buy.

✭✭✭✭✭To be fair to the OP, his idea is a twist on the usual thread about auction houses replacing the present guild trader system.
It could fit in with my own suggestion in many past threads, namely that we retain the guild trader system but with a NPC trader in each main city through whom anyone could list a very small number of items at a high commission to be shared between the guilds trading in that location. It would cater for casual players who don't have enough items to sustain guild membership, as well as low-level players generally for whom the present system isn't really designed, and those who either don't want to be in a guild or whose guilds don't have a trader that particular week.
Adding in the OP's suggestion would mean that those few items would be listed for bidding or buyout, giving an extra option over and above the existing system and therefore also allowing those with guild traders to utilise the NPC traders too - but only for so few items that it wouldn't impact significantly on their guild activities.
I appreciate that there are those who love the present system just as there are those who hate it, most polls suggesting that those numbers are pretty even, but why not have an honest discussion about how it can be improved (not replaced) so everyone loves it?2 -
