Armor of the Trainee question

Can anyone tell me if this set is worth or not in his current status? Please consider also Transmutation in next Patch.
I can't decide if i should use it or i should consider something else for some kind of complet Hybrid balanced build between Health, magicka and stamina.

I have other options in mind in the case of the coments are really bad. In my opinion the 5th piece should give just a little bit more of bonus, maybe change it from 1250 to 1600 or something.

They nerfed this set because it was becoming a must have for pvp and the new players couldn’t do a thing on the starter islands for everyone farming for this set.
If your thinking hybrid look at the new crafted sets they seem to be pushing that direction with them

It was introduced specifically as a leveling set for new players, but ended up being used in PvP a lot for the stats, because they overdid it. So they reduced the buffs to a level where they are still useful to low level characters, but not strong enough to be used end game. All generic pieces come with training trait, drop in all weights, but there are some named pieces in other traits obtainable from quests in the starting areas.

Its ok when paired with shacklebreaker.just be sure to use the named weapons and purple jewelry with the preferred traits.

Yes I'm going to paired with Shacklebreaker or TBS. But mostly with Shackle i believe. Also i think with the new introduced Transmutation system to change the trait it has to be a again a good option.

How do you see it?

I can't see a situation, even post-transmute, that I'd use it over shacklebreaker. I could see combining both for very high off-resource stats on a magicka build, though.

I could see it paired nicely with shackle on a stamblade or stamsorc. Anything to increase the number of times you can cloak or streak would be excellent.
