Can two people play ESO using the one computer?

Somebody else in my house wants to start playing ESO and we want to play together, but only have one gaming rig.
So, if we run one player from the direct ESO launcher and also run another game (separate ESO log-in obviously) from the Steam launcher, can we both play simultaneously while using 2 monitors?

ESO will run multiple instances but Windows only allows one (1) window to have focus, so even if you managed to add two keyboards and two mice to your system, only one of your ESO instances will have focus to receive input.

There was, and probably still is. A way to be a PC to emulate multiple PCs, one per core. However if you could afford a rig that had enough resources to handle this you could afford a second rig. You can put together a gaming rig for $500 to $800 that will play this and most games quite well at 1080.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

✭✭✭You can do this OP. You will need to buy a mind sensor headband.
What you want to do is have 2 ESO's up ( one on each screen ), also one being the 32 bit version of ESO and the other being a 64 bit version. Then have your friend put on the mind sensor head band and focus on one of the screens. You will hear a beeping sound when the mind sensor is communicating with the ESO game. Then your friend can control his character with his mind. Thank me later.

Yep I just built a friend of mine who was very low on cash a 350 rig that runs ESO just fine in 1080, the AMD FX chips have plummeted since the Ryzen chips have come out.0 -

You can use 2 virtual machines to do it. But you need a beefy computer to pull it off. The cost of which its cheaper to buy 2 separate computers.0 -

Unfortunately no: the game continues to recognize/use k&m inputs in gamepad mode. Disabling this would probably ruin your chat interface, if it were even possible to separate the inputs.CP 750+
