Mother's Sorrow melee mageblade - viable?

I've managed to snag a couple of sharpened Mother's Sorrow swords. Would it be possible/worth running these on a melee magblade and if so, what sets should I use to complement it. Thinking Seducers or Transmutation but wondering if there is better?

Shacklebreaker. Then you can run Witchmothers Potent Brew.

Definitely worth a test but I still think Spinners would be stronger especially since you have Cloak to guarantee a crit. Necropotance probably even stronger than Spinners too. Concealed Weapon stun is amazing especially if partnering, take full advantage of it.

I have tried Necropetence, on my MagBlade and my conclusion is that it's not all that good a choice. Reason, you can't pop your shades unless you are in range of an enemy, so you don't get the Max Magic Boost from the set until you get the shades, but your magic will not regen up to the new level before combat is typically engaged.

Yes, you get the DPS benefit from the higher magic, but to me without the corresponding pool increase, it is not an ideal situation.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

That benefit is a large one. You're right though, for melee probably not the best, better suited to a caster.

Just try it OP, let us know the results. Definitely go Shackle/Potent Brew with it, gives you everything.
