PvP Needs Direction! Best idea ever #4

I'm tired of 30 people in zone chat at the same time arguing over where to send everybody...

I have got the solution! Well 2 options...

First, the top (insert ratio here) of all time active players of a faction vote what the capture/scout boards ask for and the ap gains from those boards increased by 50% or so.

The above would/should result in a more strategically directed campaign and not so...disorganized. Then with the ap gains increased folks will want to do the missions.

Option 2 = have the ap gains from the missions increased and just have scout\capture missions be closer to front lines and not so RNG and tactically irrelevant.
"The red pill and its opposite, the blue pill, are a popular cultural meme, a metaphor representing the choice between:

Knowledge, freedom, uncertainty and the brutal truths of reality (red pill)
Security, happiness, beauty, and the blissful ignorance of illusion (blue pill)"

Insight to Agree to Awesome Ratio = 1:6.04:2.76 as of 1/25/2019

Compared to people that I've ignored = I am 18% more insightful, 20% less agreeable, and 88% more awesome.

Option 3, just play with your guild and call it a day...

this is not a technology/game problem....if you play group or guild you are only as good as your organization.take charge. implement reasonable rules across the top ppl in the group and win.

So who gets to pick who are the "active player"?

active = good for discussion, have to be a flat rule to prevent abuse.

The three biggest problems with ESO PvP (both BGs and Cyro) are these, sorted by importance:
    1. Performance issues
    2. Lack of competition (this is where your directionless gameplay belongs)
    3. Poor balance

Nothing is being done to solve these three issues.
There were some tests to improve PvP performance, yet the results weren't satisfying and nothing is being done since then. Guess we are stuck with lags and endless loading screens for another period.
ESO PvP was lacking competition since start. This has been brought many times but ZOS is too stubborn to admit that their game design needs tweaking. I really hoped that Battlegrounds could solve this, but we all know how it went (first non-CP only to cast off CP players, now CP only to cast off non-CP players, well done xD). I'd Rather stick with Cyrodiil until Battlegrounds are fully tweaked and ranked mode is implemented.
Same with balance issues. They refuse to balance PvE and PvP separately just because their game design was "one world" and they will never admit a fault on their side.

What I want to say, ZOS has their own way of designing things and does not listen to what community asks. So do not expect any change based on forum complaints.

    Agree with the above statement
    Problems are as follows
    Performance
    Lack of competition
Poor balance (can be fixed later)

First issue and its mentioned in heaps of threads, LAG is an issue and needs urgent attention.
Pvp competition. Simple steps can be takes
    1. Remove factions for accounts (keep factions in pvp but weekly match up you can automatically go to a side, like battlegrounds matchup (makes sense post one tamerial))
    2. Instead of factons, have servers/shards and your whole account is lock to that server (stops the ap boosters/campaign switching/emp locking etc).
    3. Weekly matches in a tournament which your server is ranked by group/server performance, no more monthly and dead/buff campaign
These step would make cyrodiil a great place to be again "LET MAKE CYRODIIL GREAT AGAIN"

(Perfect example of this working well is the wvw setup in guild wars 2)

Oh well... How often have you been in cyrodiil yet?

I like option 2. How many times didn't I get a mission to capture a keep on the other side of the map when we only had our own 2 home keeps... Makes no sense at all to give those missions.

Indeed, on PS4 EU the servers are hardly ever locked. Seems fewer people seem to (keep) play(ing) pvp

I think that system would be the worst thing to ever happen unless you love major zergs and lag spikes .
