Looks like all I to do is push this and my skill or attack will crit every single time... what's the catch?

In all honesty, it's a great skill to have as a Stamblade, and even better as a Magblade (Stamina and Magicka focused Nightblade builds, respectively.) I would keep it slotted on one bar at all times in situations where you need to play defensively, and definitely use it to guarantee crits on heavy hitting skills when you really need to burst down your target's health quickly.
I'd really suggest heading over to http://elderscrollsonline.wiki.fextralife.com/sets and browsing through the equipment there to get some ideas on where to start making your own build for the game, whether that's for PVE or PVP, or just practice and training overworld.Edited by Judas Helviaryn on October 8, 2017 4:43AM0 -
Chronicburn✭✭✭✭Little too early with this toon to start picking out monster sets, although I am rolling with seducer and a few magnus for all the magika boost I can get. That whole "no jewelry in crafted sets" thing is holding me back from wearing 2 full sets for now.0

✭✭✭✭Didn't read the thread. OP, shadowy disguise is expensive to cast and has a lot of counters in addition to being rather buggy. Also, you then use two actions for 1 attack where using a DoT then a direct damage attack would be more overall damage.
The best offensive use of the forced crits are on a bomber/ganker. The real best way to use it is to force crit heals0 -
Mikuelray✭✭Back bar cloak with vigor and your heals crit. This is an amazing skill. It's expensive but in pvp the only 2 magicka skills for stamblade is cloak and mass hystra. Having 1200 magicka recovery with around 11 or 12k magicka you could cloak up to 9 or more times. Depending if you let the 3 secs go through. It's a must for all blades.0

✭When I hit enemy with suprise attack while sneaking, I deal 20+ dmg, when I do so with cloak, I deal only 9+ dmg. I use cloak only to be invisible.PC/EU0 -

Cloak is only for getting to skyshards, at least in PE.0
