Crit chance is fine and all, however what if it played more into player positioning? Being an active part of combat rather than just upping the standard rotation crit chance while going through your rotations. You'd be playing off of the enemy position as well. In solo scenarios it'd require you to take advantage of class stunning abilities or taking enemies by surprise.
This could be in the form of changing the increased crit chance to increased damage Direct Damage dealt from behind an enemy (which might need some tuning with the sword passive so that it isn't a case of which one offers the best % damage bonus) Or augmenting Abilities against enemies who have their back turned to you.
Of course this is just rambling.
