Casuals just typically play the game less and take the game much less seriously than hardcore players. They're just people who don't have the time commitment or aren't seasoned MMO players. Typically they spend the majority of their time on quests, RP, or are master anglers.
On the flip side you got hardcore players which are people who dedicate a lot of time with this game, prefer end game content and generally are a lot more competitive.
When you make "veteran players" look way more appealing of choice in your poll, I mean you're just asking for people to choose it over zergling or RP devotee. Lol dude might as well ask if someone think they're a pro or a scrub.Very athletic eso player

In PVE... I enjoy just questing and running dailys, even soloing world bosses and public dungeons.I will occaisionally go run some 4 man dungeons, mostly when I am farming something. It is impossible to get a group for a DPS though. I can only use group finder on my tank because otherwise it takes an hour. But I read the forums I look up the BiS builds... the problem is of course... I live in OCE I have 300-400 ping regularly just lag out and die. My DPS on a target dummy is 21K and I just cannot get higher even with BIS (non trials) gear there it too much lag to animation cancel and difficulty weaving and double casting of skills that wastes resources. I am too afraid to run a trial because i think I'll just lag out and die with so many people on screen.
In PVP... I am not at all a Zergling, part of that is that my game lags out whenever I am anywhere near the front lines. With my 300-400 ping I also cannot play small scale PVP very well. I play some sweet sweet PVDoor though.... I greatly enjoy playing PVP in a small group, sometimes even leading that small group, trying to pull my opponents around the map PVDooring and Skirmishing over resources. I almost never kill anyone, well, I never kill anyone in a fair fight. I most man sieges and gank hard. (Please ban cheatons in PVP)1 -

Or at least trying...With ages, reflexes and skills droped... started playing MMOs with one of my RL friend around early 2000's.. starting with Guild Wars... we been in most MMO.... but with ages, reflexes etc.. droped, so now i consider myself a casual, or a bit over casual player (being a bit modest here) even though i started running vet trials, did so far vHRC and vSO on HM only, vAA still normal... vDSA, vMA, nMoL and nHoF done.... so i presume i am not that bad but still consider myself a bit average casual, but i would love being part of the elites army.. but not gonna happen, skils droped with time like other part of the body :S... i still do not bad.... but wish i'd be still part of those top DPS guys which i used to be in other MMO in the passed years.... and being able to pull more than 33-34k selfbuffed on stam sorc, wish i'd be one of those able to top the possible thing, being one of those DPS ***...... so i consider myself casual now, since it takes me quite a few runs to get used to mechanics, learning them etc... took me so much time to remember all the dungeons and fights in all 4 mens when i got back in game last january after almost 1.5 year away. Damn memory starting to fade faster than hair now grows on my ears and nosetril :S
As for PvP in this game, i'm lower than the casual Squirrels trying to use a mouse and computer for the first time and playing a game.... An armless penguin would beat the *** out of me in PvP now....Edited by Insandros on October 6, 2017 12:12PM1 -

But I'm still casual, because although I try to bring benefits to a group, I could not care less about being competitive, and I play for fun. If something starts looking like a job, I stop doing it.
