Will we see the timline push forward? (and do you want to see it?)

Among all dlc and expansion, the only storyline that pushed the vanilla story forward is the Osinium DLC
(Considering you get to see prophet at the end and he says "we will never meet again", indicating we are past vanilla storyline)
(Also the old orc king dies and new king re-negotiate with DC)

Morrowind actually pull the timeline backward, as you get to be "pre-Vestige" in the game, only get killed later by Mannimarco.

All others, thief guild, dark brotherhood, imperial city and of course dungeon dlcs are pretty much stand-alone with no indication of where exactly those happened and if the three banner war is affected by those events.
(All we know is imperial city (at least white-gold tower dungeon) happened after mannimarco took power)

Do you want to see future dlc/ expansion take part later than vanilla game "by default"? (because you still can play orsinium first or morrowind later)

I personally really want to see the timeline move forward. Prophet mentioned "Daedra princes fighting each other" at the end of orsinum", so daedra realms are certainly in the later games. However I would love to see more about what happens to Tamriel
How the war unfold, who is the successor of each faction, will imperial legions rise again after repelling daedra worshippers etc. (<-Probably the only good thing with WOW storyline..you get to see the time passes)

So, question for ZOS is will we see it? question for players is do you want to see it?

Previously it was an timeline in dlc, in that Orsinium was set well after the main quest, this was changed more so timeline don't matter or everything happens in an short time.
Timeline is always pretty messed up in MMO as dolmens don't go away after you finish the main quest and so on.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

It would be cool if one day the zones we finish could be pushed forward just a little bit in time. As in, Davon's Watch, Dune, Arenthia, Velyn Harbor, etc all get repaired, Vivec City and New Ebonheart get a little more finished, and we see some of the consequences of our choices actually play out (such as the fate of Westtry)

OP, you might want to indicate some mild spoilers in your thread title.

I totally don't recall seeing or speaking to the prophet at the end of Orsinium.

I doubt they will ever truly tie together the stories, timelines, and zones with any level of cohesion and coherency. The only way they could effectively do this would be to have instances again (similar, in fashion, to how Silver and Gold used to work).

This would put more load on the server and isolate people at differing stages and as a result of different quest choices. I neither see them doing this nor having the ability to link things in this fashion.

An advancing timeline with truly dynamic changes would do wonders for immersion, and possibly replayability. It would mean missed opportunities, though, and people wishing to pay generally don't care for that kind of thing.
