A week ago i made my new High End PC for 4k gaming and joinred ESO . First 2 Hours of playing i was having a blast from the Ultra graphics in 4k on my 65 inch TV . However after i settled down and started to pay more atention to the surroundings i noticed that the Overland zones are almost EMPTY , the population on PC eu is significantly lower than PS4 eu .
Few hours later i reached Storm Haven and asked in the Zone chat for Pve/trading or PvP guild - no answer no inv. And this was going on for 3 days in a row : me requesting for guild invitr in the zone chats of major cities untill something happened - one of the "eletists" replied to me that "this is not how its done on PC , you need to submit a forum request for a guild and than get a invite and if i dont like it i can just go back to were i belong - to console peasents."
I was like WTF whats wrong with YOU pple ?!? Fortunatly i got one pitty invite to a trading guild few mins later ...
I am extremely dissapointed of the PC EU community , also i miss my console peasants friends and in the end of the day i realised that i made a wrong choice of investing in PC because the graphics and performance are not everything that makes one game Enjoyable.

Come try PC NA. You may have a little more lag, but at least we have people. Maybe PC gaming isn't big in Europe. Although, may still be "empty" because of time zone difference if you actually live in Europe.

You should go to the Youtoobs search for “gamers raging” and watch all the hilarious (and occasionally disturbing) videos of gamers screaming, getting violent, and raging over games.

99.9% PC or Xbox players. The other 0.1% are Nintendo fanboys raging over Smash Brothers, which apparently is a pretty intense game.

Moral of the story: PlayStation is the true master race.

On pc there is more choices for a stable mmo experience. On Ps4, well zos didnt really have to try hard. You only have neverwinter or star trek online.

Try PC NA. It is very active at all times of the day. It also has a more active dungeon/trials community. (I switched from PC EU to NA a few months ago)

I wanted to ask you what eu server you are on that you dont see many people, because i always see a ton of people on the overworld.
Then i realised there ofcourse only is one server and it makes me wonder even more what you are doing wrong -_-

neverwinter also does not require psn unlike eso. so it is actually free.

Actually I do see alot of guilds advertising in zone chat, but maybe thats the german channel only...

Nevertheless, keep google translator ready in the background ... know some german phrases or words (Hallo, wie gehts? Guten Abend. Danke. Bitte. - will do, I guess. i fyou like to get really loved try: Bratwurst, Bier and Sauerkraut (PS: you do need to ba able to pronounce it!). ) Switch to the german channel and whisper for an invite. ;)

I'm on PCEU and the Overland zones seem quite full to me (even too full, when I'm looking for mat nodes to make some new gear). Also most people recruit via /zone.

Could be an issue with the timezone? Maybe you're logged in at a "dead" hour.

If you need a hand with something in game, feel free to contact me (@Khenarthi and @Khenarthi2 - usually logged on one account or the other in between 20 and 22 CET).

    Would you pay for neverwinter??
I played it on pc, i would not.
Saying zos has it lucky on ps4 as there is no competition, unlike pc

Yes sounds a bit like an timezone issue for me, might be instances too, pc eu might have a bit to many now in some zones.

On the other hand guilds might well have an different culture (as in guilds who spam invites are not wort joining) check the guild section here.
Grinding just make you go in circles.

I find loads of people in all zones, sometimes they even appear in my own house, on PC EU. Rawl'kha, Belkarth, Elden Root, Mournhold, Wayrest and Sotha Sil/Vivec Cyrodiil has people at all times. Maybe your timezone is the reason? If you're up at 4.30AM German time, you might not be suited for EU server? That's the only thing I could say is the problem.

Edit; If timezone is not the problem I can offer a spot in a very cozy and friendly guild. We do all kinds of content and host fun events and we have a guild trader in Bandaari Trading Post. About 480 members atm

i see only timezone issue here

actually PC EU is morecrowded than PC NA in primetime

just compare 5 top trading guild online on both servers

    example, ETU(NA) - 150-200 in peak hours
    TTG/TTM/AE(EU) - 180-250 in peak hours

Most guilds in pc eu do invite via zone chat . Unless you were spamming odd messages perhaps then people might have been holding back. Try earlier in the day perhaps

Offtopic, but im building a similar setup, thing is I want to use that 35 inch asus monitor coming out in winter with it for shooters, since t.vs specially on 4k will have some crazy input delay unless im game mode, but still enough to be bad for shooters. But yea question is, If I connect a display port cable to the new monitor, and a long hdmi to my 60 inch samsung suhd t.v which is about 10 feet away, would I have any trouble switching between the two? I just really like gaming on my t.v for things that dont require 1ms response time since I have a 700 dollar powered recliner to play from.
