This skill needs to be nerfed into the ground. The idea people can literally just run around with perfect mobility at no cost to themselves while doing damage (because it was activated before rapids applied) is absolutely ***. Solo players or small groups have absolutely 0 impact versus large groups because they simply cannot isolate anyone for no other fact than the larger group moves faster with a larger source of immunities (which makes no sense) than the solo/small group.
Also, how are AOEs LESS effective versus the more people you target? Why does a 6 man group going up vs and 18 man group already have it's potential AOE damage literally cut in half?
yeah pretty much this
this is everything wrong with pvp right now. cyro is a joke due to retreating maneuvers, it gives any organized group spamming it a tremendous advantage due to their permanent cc immunity. members of their group cannot be immobilized and focused down like they should be. if you get "caught", you shouldn't just be able to zoom away because someone in your group is spamming an ability nonstop.

Ohh no. Smaller groups are disadvantaged when fighting larger ones? You're right that's absurd they should fix that.

Lmao exploitable, ZOS said it's intended and not an exploit, not even a bug. Learn what an exploit is
Lmao ZOS said it's intended. @Master_Kas please learn what trying to cover your ass is since your a noobCuz no matter what ZoS says, they stated the first time animation cancelling came around that it was NOT intended and they will look into it, found out, they cannot fix it due to having to either redesign the ENTIRE combat system, add a GCD to EVERYTHING, or make attacks that are cancelled do a portion to no damage, all three options being very bad for the game. So instead they decided to try and cover their arse and hope people will forget what they first stated on animation cancelling, that its an exploit, a very MACRO-ABLE exploit.
Please dont tell me to learn anything, seeing as I played mmos 3x longer than you or anyone else from the WoW generation. Animation cancelling is what mostly killed DCUO, and its gonna continue to kill things for this game here as its causing more and more players to quit.
Lol wowgeneration, I've never even played WOW.
And yes you need to learn what an exploit actually is like doublemundus was for example.
Salty boy is salty.
Edit: not trying to "cover my ass". I openly admit that I use animation canceling nomatter which character I play. It's still no exploit.
And yes they said it's intended, end of storyYou clearly have no clue about this game if you think animation canceling is what kills it lol.

1. Community. Seriously, I realize that the squeaky wheels tend to be the ones getting attention, but far too often they're also the ones that can make the experience toxic.
2. Community. Whining about zergs....as if large groups attacking keeps in a war campaign setting are such a bad thing. Battlegrounds exist, if you really want that experience, go there instead, please.
3. Community. Actually wasting our time whining about losing the ability to 1vX(as if that balance should make that an earnest playstyle in the first place). Whining because someone plays the meta, as if playing the proven effective for this patch build is somehow supposed to be taboo. Honestly guys, the hundred people around you had the same viper and selene equipped as the guy that killed you, and the other hundred are running immovable pots and destro staves.
4. Game mechanics. TTK is far too varied. An attack that hits one guy for over ten thousand damage really ought not hit another in the teens to low hundreds. Yes, we need the ability to build for survivability and whatnot, but a spread this large is toxic to the game.
5. Game mechanics. Yes, I'm going to be a little hypocritical here, because while I believe whining in the community is toxic, I also believe that leaving things to have genuine complaints about is just as toxic. Overpowered abilities due to outright balance neglect and general game neglect destroy the experience. Highly damaging abilities are fine, but do they really need to be coupled with outright CC immunity and healing that overheals on even the most mundane of HoTs? Do we really have to move to a debuff system(defile) and broken CC's(fear) to overcome this in any way? All this does is swing the pendulum too far the other direction. Why can't that be balanced logically?
6. Community. I'm here instead of playing because my own faction is blocking an emp push. From our own faction. I get it, some people aren't popular. I don't know the guy, I don't care if any particular person gets emp or not, I'm an outside casualty because the current atmosphere in game is too toxic to play. I suppose this one also falls on Zenimax, considering the banhammer should really drop on disruptive behavior like this but the reality is that enforcement is borderline non-existant and penalties are extremely light around here.
Nothing to do with rewards, nothing to do with AP sources, garbage like that. The game experience from a core gameplay perspective has bred both fights and community that become increasingly toxic. A different direction is needed to make the experience more positive.

Don't think I agree with point 1. Point 6?, I've never seen anything like that.
As to point six, I don't know how often it happens as this is the first time I'd seen it, but you'd have had an EP emp on Friday, and probably again on Saturday morning(if he hadn't lost it by then), if this disruption wasn't happening. I can understand that other alliances may not be entirely aware as to why the emp push EP had going failed, but now you know.
It consisted of filling the offensive siege slots with unusable oils and hitting the forward camp limit so that one could not be placed at the keep under attack. Yes, really, a disruptive minority literally spent hundreds of thousands of AP to prevent the majority of their own faction from moving forward.
It wasn't a valiant AD defense, they didn't pull together to eke it out at the last possible moment. DC didn't come in and wipe the attacking EP. They piddled away to nothing, helpless to taking the keep because they couldn't respawn nor bring down the inner wall.
This wasn't even a "brilliant" cross faction log in effort either, mind. These where EP players that are usually online, playing as EP.
I do agree, however, that the community as a whole is not necessarily bad. There are plenty of great people around here, and it is a dang shame that their play experience has to work around a lack of enforcement that allows players who would willfully disrupt the game(because things like this affect far more people than the individual they where targeting) to continue to log on.
EDIT: And...uh, it broke the formatting, sorry about that:P

Still a unintended exploit, hence why they been trying to nerf it little by little now. Though, I pretty much know to use it fully now without macros, it makes no diff though if your ping in cyro is high and fps low. But once my new pc im building is done, together with the gsyc monitor im getting thats out in winter, should have a steady 60 fps plus in cyro or better, also have fiber optics now and will have a 180 dollar 10g shielded asus nic, so ping should stay low. Should be fine then
But yea, optimization, lag, and acing is some reasons why players quit pvp. But eh, your a blind fanboy from 2015, you dont even play anymore im sure. Probably saw the truth eventually.
Low build diversity. Gear grind.
