I voted for NO! NEVER! as a knee-jerk response without reading throughout the other choices carefully, because for some reason bards grate on my nerves (who sings about the plane meld and the end of the world in such a mellow way?) If I had a bard assistant that I accidentally summoned and then couldn't dismiss, I'd gladly jump into slaughterfish-infested waters, red mountain lava, or roll-dodge off cliffs, etc, to avoid them
But as a decoration at (other people's) homes, I actually wouldn't mind them at all.
