As some type of an NPC decoration, I would think many would support the idea.

I'd rather have a squire - someone to get me out of my armour, wipe off all the blood, sharpen my blades, run me a bath, cook some food, look after the horses... fill my skooma pipe... and give me a massage

Would love a bard as a 'furnishing' for your home. Would need an off/off switch too of course like the lights and fires have.

As far as assistants go, I'd like my merchant to repair stuff and my banker to be able to access my guild's bank. :'(

I voted for NO! NEVER! as a knee-jerk response without reading throughout the other choices carefully, because for some reason bards grate on my nerves (who sings about the plane meld and the end of the world in such a mellow way?

) If I had a bard assistant that I accidentally summoned and then couldn't dismiss, I'd gladly jump into slaughterfish-infested waters, red mountain lava, or roll-dodge off cliffs, etc, to avoid them

But as a decoration at (other people's) homes, I actually wouldn't mind them at all.

I'd add allow anyone in your group to hear them.

You could possibly have anyone hear them if, when multiple were in proximity, they all synched. Maybe switching to different instruments to play the same song, with some singing. That would probably require a lot of work however, but that might justify the price, which the current assistants don't.

I'd also prefer they be added through a quest reward, possibly with a Bard's College DLC rather than Crown Store, which again would justify the additional coding required.

Whoever clicked 'insightful' don't judge me for my bard abhorring ways - years of hearing 'the plane meld is nigh' to the same melody can do weird things to a person

No way 10 bards in one location singing different songs will be annoying

As long as we can remove that annoying voice actor male bard from launch (no offense, brother). The guy that did Leonardo's voice from the original Ninja Turtles cartoon is a great voice actor, but a terrible bard! H'es Terri-Bard!
