For the services Khajiit thinks you are seeking you probably should be asking some Dunmer in the basement of a tavern in Ebonheart.

There may also be an area in the Clockwork City where those sort of goings on may be found there yes. At least the name is a suggestion of such things.

Seeing as how there is so much interest Khajiit is willing to offer one free correspondence lesson on the very basics of becoming a Pocket Technician yes.

The basics of beginning a career as a Pocket Technician

The life of a Pocket Technician is enticing yes. Great riches could be yours. However without caution and training also a great expensive bounty could be yours and even some time in the dungeons at Wayrest Castle - not one of the better rated dungeons of Tamriel. Khajiit found the food there to be average and the service terrible.

So begin at the beginning perhaps - as a Barrel Technician first of all.

There are two large ships in the harbour in Daggerfall. They have been there a while and seem to have no destination in mind. They both have two cabins and a hold - and no guards. Train your skills here - or somewhere similar. The Outlaw Refuge is nearby and within two to three weeks at most of fencing and laundering you will have a sufficient level of skill to consider beginning as a Pocket Technician.

Make sure to be level 17 in Laundryremain before you start work - with relevant skill points allocated. The life of a Pocket Technician is one of risk versus skill. The more skill you have then the lower the risk yes.

Still your friend is patience yes. Wait behind your subject and do not make your move too soon.

Pocket walkers move - both the ones you are cleaning and the ones around you - so your location is as crucial as your timing.

How you work also is important for the profession as a whole. Do not try and clean a pocket walker when it is obvious that a fellow technician has them in their sights. Pockets are not like barrels. Barrels contain treasure for all - pockets only have three items to go around whoever is cleaning them yes. Do not take from the paws that train you. Additionally do not grump and wave your swords when Khajiit is going about her business and happens to finish with a pocket walker just before you get there.

Dip, dip, stab are your words to live by. Acquire the Blade of Woe by talking to your friendly, neighbourhood Dark Brotherhood representative. Pocket walkers carry only three items. Dip for the first, dip for the second and then make your pocket walker sleep for a bit by using your blade. Then be sure to loot. This ensures your healthy, happy pocket walker will return to bless you with more loot in a few minutes time.

Do not leave empty walkers. Do not leave them asleep on the floor. Otherwise they will not return before another pocket technician has had to clean up your shoddy work yes.

Clean well, clean often and you will be a credit to the profession instead of making Khajiit mutter things of a rude nature under her whiskers.

Khajiit thinks you should wear what you find most stylish. If the guards they see you they do not care for your fashion sense no.

A pocket technician works in many places - not always in the shadows. Sometimes there is most colourful blue wallpaper and there the traditional dress of our profession would be of no help at all.
