Is VO and TFS a good combination of sets?

I just finished gathering enough vicious ophidian and twice fanged serpent items to have a complete set. I'm finding that I do less dps against my practice dummy then when I had on hunding's rage/sunderflame. Thoughts?

Yes, one of the best. Practice dummys are missleading, you get awesome sustain from vo that you can't get anywhere else. As long as you have a vMA bow, you ought to be fine.

You dont realy need the sustain from vo on a stam dk outside of running solo. Tfs and hundings on the other hand is a great combo for dungeons. :)

vo on a stam dk is pointless since they use a lot of heavy attacks and their heavy attacks get a huge boost in dps because of molten weapons.

pair tfs with nmg, hundings, war machine

Ewww War Machine on a DK... Terrible uptime etc. etc. War Machine is only good on Stamblade and Stamplar.

Agreed on Hunding's over VO for DKs though. NMG, Sunderflame and Morag Tong are also very good viable options.

But it depends on what your Trial group is running. TFS isn't used much nowadays since most groups stack armor debuffs.
