Altmer Hair Color

The darkest I seen in Creation was a Dark Brown right and lightest is white? I was originally wanting black hair but noticed they don't so I alwayys stuck with black hair and now I been told in-game of Altmer NPC that has black hair and now I sit here staring at this NPC altmer who has black hair.. Velkhel Guard Auridon. Banker.
think its the only Altmer with black hair? or more can be out there ..

I just asked a friend who is a 'lore nut' who knows most lore and he said it's nothing on lore and that even altmer in skyrim have black hair so he doesn't know why Altmer don't get black hair on ESO either.1 -

✭✭✭✭✭There are several Altmer NPCs with black hair, but we don't have it in the creation menu for some reason.
There are also Nord NPCs with a beautiful natural shade of red hair, that is also not in the creation menu. (We get a bold, dark red, but no lighter natural red.)

✭✭✭✭✭Indeed, there are several altmer NPCs with black hair, but it has always been absent in chargen.
There is speculation the black hair may indicate altmer with some not quite pure ancestry, possibly ayleid in their bloodline or something like that... which would explain why those blackhaired ones are often found in the veiled heritage (its a altmer-ness over-compensation issue, Freud would understand...)
Still, be that as it may, it would be nifty to have more options in character appereance selection. Even if one were to pay crowns for them... I -totally- would shell out a bit for an "halfblood" appereance pack that lets people select uncommon eye, skin and hair shades...0 -

Me, too. I'd throw handfuls of money at them for something like that. Not sure why it matters so much that our characters have only specific eye colors.
