Time to Allow Us to Port to Eyevea and Earth Forge Wayshrines

In the beginning, it was a small irritant that the wayshrines in Eyevea and the Earth Forge could only be used to port out. The extra step of using a guildhall for transport in was annoying, and it also didn't really fit in the lore of wayshrines as I understand it. Of course, once you'd finished the questlines for the guilds, there wasn't really much reason to visit either location, so it was only a small irritant.

But with Master Writs in the game frequently calling for the sets in these locations, the small irritant has upgraded to, well, "minor nuisance."

I realize this isn't going to be high on anybody's priority list, but I would expect it would take practically no effort to make it happen, and it really just plain doesn't make sense the way it is. So how about removing this minor nuisance, ZOS?

    Seconded.

    Earth Forge is especially irritating. It's a long, un-mountable walk to the crafting stations there. Sometimes I just want to step into the lava and never look back.

    I guess it is a little pain but not as much as when you have to go to imperial City to craft something for the master writ...

    Again, I'm aware this isn't actually a big deal. It's a minor problem that happens to be an easy fix and makes no sense the way it is.

    And anyway, most IC writs I pull end up being Nirnhoned or Legendary, so it's usually worth the hassle.

    We need a port to the earth forge. that's annoying as hell to get to. Eyevea can be accessed from almost any Mage Guild hall. I also love the multiple ports out from there.

    In theory, I do as well. However, I can never remember which is where, so I always just end up using the shrine.

    If on PC there is also an addon that lets you waysrhine to them, but you must have finished the quests and have used the waysrhines that are there. Or at least that solved the issue I had of not being able to get it to work, I had obviously been inside but the addon didn't work for me till I ported in through FG and clicked the wayshrine. GuildShrines

    In the meantime if it's just for master writs, make a friend or join a guild that has all stations attuned.

    One of my guilds has every single crafting station in alphabetical order. When they finished setting that up, it was the last time I visited IC for a master writ. I don't miss it.

    That's fantastic, and I didn't know. I'll definitely check out the Addon. However, that doesn't solve things for our console cousins.

    Just target them and they'll tell you. I always take the one back to grahtwood to turn in my writ anyway.

    Works for both. U have to get there again and activate the wayshrine after u left the instance when completing fg story.

    Yes, I completely agree. Also, from an exploration and novelty stand point, these are really cool places and are both legendary in their own right. Once we "unlock" them we should be able to come and go as we please.

    Go to the forge, while there use the waysrhine to leave. This fixed it for me.

    I can confirm the addon works for both!

    You just have to use the Wayshrines at least once in Eyevea and the Earth Forge.

    The Earth Forge Wayshrine doesn't look like the other Tamriel Wayshrines and is found right at the entrance to the Forge. :smile:

    Feel free to let me know if anyone has any problems or issues with it.

    You just need to interact with it to discover it (you don't actually need to teleport anywhere). Once discovered, you can transport to the wayshrine from outside using a regular wayshrine (The Eyevea and Earth Forge wayshrines can't be recalled to).

    GuildShrines is required to see them from elsewhere in Tamriel, of course.

    I don't understand what is difficult.

    Earth forge you go to the fighters guild, use port and then walk to the station which really isn't that far. Crafting stations are always a short distance from a shrine some farther than others.

    The other one you use the mage guild portal, same thing.
