This used to be a joke, but every online game I've played has this issue, and the game developers aren't going to fix it, so disconnects and loading screens pretty much are real features now.

Good to know! If you don't mind my asking, was it the ASUS ROG GameFirst Software?
Only issue with this poll is, the country where eso is played
Ive noticed anyone playing in america has minimal issues, europe get slightly more issues and oceanic players get shafted with horrible lag/connection issues (similar mmos we dont get as near as many issues as here).
Any devs actually reading this, "when are you guys going to have a serious look at your servers?"

I agree about the oceanic players, but my experience of the forums is the opposite of yours so far as US and EU players are concerned. NA players seem to have network issues and often complain of poor ISPs like Comcast, whereas EU players seem to have fewer issues and better ISPs. Over the years I've come across quite a lot of American players in MMOs who use the EU servers in part because they get more reliable performance (the other part being the difference in the communities).
I think the other issues with the poll are (a) whether you are on console or PC, and (b) if on PC whether you use addons. Console players seem to have it worse, and some addons appear to affect performance significantly.
@DahliaNightshade
okay, but frequent disconnects on a daily basis is not common.
Glad you are 100% positive it is nothing on your end and that you have not found any local internet issues. However, your last point is rather off by a bit if you are getting disconnected multiple times a day pretty much every day.
BTW. You didn't mention your addons were not part of the issue. Addons have the capability to cause the game client to crash.
Which brings up another point, if kicked to the login screen that's a disconnect from the server. If the game client crashes it's significantly less likely the connection to Zos but a local issue and a significant grated chance the issue is in the room you sit.
Check and make sure you don't have extra sound drivers installed. Disable or uninstall any that aren't your normal sound one. This game seems to have a problem designating sound and gets confused if presented with multiple options, which can lead to random disconnects.
If you have an Nvidia graphics card, the Nvidia sound driver is safe to remove if you have another (like Realtek) that is working fine. It's only really used for streaming with their software, so leave it alone if you do that.
