Seriously. I'm just wondering if people still use websites? I want to create a web page for my guild to have an application so that I can review peoples' answers as well as post events and the like. If people still use them, what would be recommended? I'd also love it if one of them had a Discord plugin so that people could join discord while being on the website. Would also increase activity on the webpage. I'm sorry if this isn't allowed, but I don't see why it wouldn't be.

I personally don't run any guilds (or haven't in a good fifteen years) but if you're looking to screen people, why not have a google form and ask people to register? That will give you a lot of freedom on creating fields and submission questions.
Otherwise the most common thing would be to look into a forum instead of a website. A lot of forum software allows you to set up a required form as a part of registering as a new user. Then, as the admin, you just approve or reject applications.
