"Failed" to talk to Prophet

I remember the glitch where the old guy was showing up everywhere, even your underwear drawers (I have reddit links to back that). And I am very glad zos fixed the creepy stalker version of the Prophet. But does he really have to throw us a "failed" if we don't talk to him? I mean sometimes I would like to have no quests at all in my ALT/MULES quest log. It is not that big a deal as I believe the "failed" does not actually penalize us in any way other than looking at its bold obnoxious insinuating disapproval. Still.... can we get rid of the "failed" when I don't talk to the old man's projection? I mean I'm doing stuff that is far more important to me than pampering that blind bat's ego. And it gives me very bad vibes to have "failed" to talk to him. Cause it's not like he's going anywhere without me, yah know.

    On the other hand, Stalker Prophet used to follow you into The Hunting Grounds and transform into a werewolf. So, there were some perks.

    He's still irritating as hell, if you ask me, and there is no option to abandon the main quest (which is auto-given whether you talk to him or not.)

    He still shows up everywhere, if you get far enough along. The other day, him and Stuga got in a fist fight over who would get to irritate me first.

    They should add an in-game check. If you've ignored their advances three times, then they leave you alone until you find them.

    Probably has checkbox on Customer Service profile that say High Aggro, 99% immunity to BS

    I feel like they need to redo things to where the Prophet will appear neat a major towns wayshrine so you can talk to him whenever you want and start the main story line. Same with Stuga. Instead of having her follow you around town have her stay in one place, like Quen and the DB chick. Maybe put Stuga by the bank in the first major town? I think that would be a much less obtrusive way of handling them.

    From the version 1.5 patch notes:
    Werewolf
    • Hircine’s Gift:
      • You are now forced to kneel for the entirety of the speech.
      • The Prophet will no longer follow you into the Hunting Grounds and transform into a werewolf.
      • Fixed an issue where you could log out and back in after killing prey for Hircine’s Tribute and find your quest action out of sync with the quest step.
    • Fixed an issue where there was no music in the Hunting Grounds.
