How do you decide which character gets to open your crown crates?

Is it your favourite character? Is it your character with most time played? Most achievements? A different character to open each crate? Any character because you don't care?

I use my main, my bae, he's my character with most achievements and most time played. One time I got EXACTLY what I wanted on the 2nd crate he opened, but since then he hasn't had good luck when it comes to the crates. At the same time though, I'm paranoid that using another character will be worse luck!

Maybe I'm just a little bit cuckoo, but I'm curious to know about all your crown crate superstitions!

Does it matter? Im pretty sure all the stuff is account shared. Just put the mount upgrades, and XP scrolls and stuff in your bank, and remove it from the bank on another character.

Well I debated it and actually logged out of my alt thinking yeah I'll open it up on my main. But most stuff of any real value is going to be account bound so I was like, naw, I play my alts like they are people. Role Play style. And they need a day in the glory as well. Main can't be hogging all the fun. So my lowest level most insignificant not only got to open he got to make a video as well. Here's his gif:

On EU with my main, because that one is also my crafter. If I get a crafting motif book out of a crate and for some odd reason I don't cash it in for gems it's with the right character right away. On NA it's either with my main or with my crafter. Depends on whether I feel altmer or bosmer that day.

I know it makes no sense logically, but anecdotally, my sorc alt seems to get much better drops from urns etc, then my main or other alts. so she gets to open the crates.

It's always my Khajiit. Pacrooti is his hero.

He is also very lucky, often getting a great house motif page on his first stab of the day for example!

Of course in the end it doesn't really matter, logically, which character gets to open the crates, its just one of those stupid human things where you can't help but wonder in the back of your mind if you would have had better or worse results if you had done something differently, at least for me anyways

My main opens them, NOT because he is my main, but because he is a devout servant of the Eight, and therefore clearly the most blessed of them all. Considering I got the Plague Husk Horse on Crate 1, I'd say it's working!
