Mag and stam ... when is it too much?

This question is for both resources but I'll use mag for the example.

If I put all my points in mag plus my armor set gives all mag bonuses and my enchants too ...
Do I hit a point of diminishing returns where I should be doing + spell dmg enchants or mag recovery enchants or maybe a different mundus instead rather than just all + mag pool?

Thx!

Mag and Stam do not give diminishing returns.

So basically just keep stacking it up, never have too much?

well the more you max base stats the more you have to sacrifice items that give you crit, damage and pen...just like health/stam/mag you have damage/crit/pen.

This needs context. For tanking you need just enough magika to sustain your "rotation" just enough stam to sustain block + "rotation" then health. For magika pvp builds you need enough stam to fit your needs(cc break, dodge roll, block, maybe shuffle) before you start stacking other resources

Depends on your other stats and item sets etc. There isn't a set number. Some builds have high max mag or stam others do not. It's a question that cannot be answered without more specifics.

So for outright damage is it better then to go + spell damage and just have enough magika to fill your casting needs? I mean because magika also increases spell damage right?
