Group finder penalty

They need to change the penalty for leaving a group. Doesn't seem fair that I get a 15 penalty because I get into a group that already beat a couple bosses. So I leave because I want pledge

Spend 15 minutes waiting on the penalty, or 15 minutes finishing the dungeon you ended up in?

Joining a group that lost members mid-way in a dungeon generally means you'll need more than 15 minutes.

But hey at lest you can finish the last few bosses, re-do the dungeon and abandon the your group half way through since you no longer need the last bosses.

You get stuff for running dungeons, I don't understand why everyone is so hot and heavy to flee just becuse it started already. It's not like you don't get anything for it

My favorite is joining a fail group already halfway through, two of the people have already dropped out and the only two left in this Vet dungeon are a cp30 and a cp45. Both of which are queued as all three roles.

Of course I'm going to instantly drop out. But instead of waiting for my 15-minutes I just log out and log into a different character, I requeue only to get put back INTO THE SAME GROUP!

Luckily on my third character I got into a successful group.

They should really add an option whether or not to join a group already in progress.

I use random dungeon finder when I want to play around with a new rotation, see what a different armor set does and things like that. Beyond that I join because I want to do the dungeon. The whole dungeon, not just part of it. I don't want to skip the mobs between bosses. I don't want to sneak past bosses that are not needed to complete the activity. I don't bail out when I get in a group that has done a portion of the dungeon but I don't like that it happens.

I would like to see an option in the group finder that would allow me to select whether or not I want to be sent to a dungeon that has already started.

i instantly joined a group as tank, they said they were looking for a dd, then i got 15 minutes penalty.

Why not just finish the dungeon with them to use up the 15 minutes and then re-queue?

Even if I get a crap group I'd rather keep going until we either finish it or I get totally frustrated, rather than leave immediately and wait 15 minutes. In most cases we can finish it anyway but if I leave immediately it feels like I am only punishing myself.

I understand the point of the penalty but you should get maybe 1 free a day before you get punished... geez we are the customer after all... are we ?

Not really some items only drop on some bosses. Like only the first boss drops jewelry so if that’s what you want you missed your chance. Granted I always stay and try to make it work going so far as to sell crafted gear to new players wearing trash drop. But if you don’t have the time or really want to complete a set jumping to the end is literally a waste of time.

There are few things more frustrating that sitting through a long queue time as a DPS only to be put into a dungeon group where someone had left or been kicked and the group is already past the bosses you need for the pledge. If you have a pledge quest and join a group in progress via the activity finder you should be given credit for the bosses you missed immediately upon entry into the dungeon.
