Ok, but it's cosmetics and potions, not actual turds. I'm just saying, try looking on the bright side. It's not like anyone was promised the rarest mounts or to get *exactly* what they wanted out of this round of crates. It was just a chance, given for free, and many people are complaining about it.

1st got me the Crow murder memento, 2nd blue chin paint (so derp) and the 3rd gave me a Sheogorath banner plus some eye make up.
Thought myself that it couldve been worse, just to have a level 35 guy riding next to me with the ashen wolf mount.

I don't play as khajiit butt-licker but I really like this badass mask:

I don't need those two pets, but I like this head tattoo, maybe it's nothing special becasue I barely can see it on my Argonion, but I like little details on my face. And I'm happy that I didn't get those mounts, becasue I have my guar and I'm loyal to him.

I didnt expect a rare thing, and in the end I didnt get one. Never bought any gambling crate, but at least now Im sure that I will never buy any. Its not worth for me.

You people got something for free and what seems like a lot of you could only do is complain, cry, and be negative. It's you that hurt this game not ZOS, not the game mechanics, or performance. I think the negativity comes from the fact that this is what the drops will look like when you buy the crates with money.

Seeing what the drops are looking like in this thread is actually discouraging me from paying money for the crates when they go live.

Some lip gloss colours I'll never use because they over-write my characters existing features (mainly scars, but much more important to me as part of the character than funky lip colours), a skeleton hat I'll probably never use and some consumables.

Still it's a nice free reminder to never waste my money on these because I only ever get junk from them.

I actually think we are seeing a decent amount of the super rare mounts. It gives me some hope for when I get to finally open mine.

I see your point, though. But then people could still be happy that they got to open a few for free and can now save their money if they feel the drop rates are that bad. I haven't decided if I will buy any of them when they release. I am not particularly interested in any of the mounts (with the exception of the Cinder Wolf, and I feel chasing that would be a fool's errand).

Basically, just some garbage. It was garbage I didn't pay for though so not a problem I guess. I think the free crown crates are a good move on ZOS part. They will give plausible deniability to those who really want to spend hundreds on crown crates to chase RNJesus but don't want the social stigma of being a degenerate gambler. Now they can always say they didn't buy any crown crates but just got lucky on the freebees and no one can know differently. It's a good move and also a good move to do the free crates right before the real ones come out so that they can gamble with impunity the first day.
