Command Pet: Can anyone confirm this does not work for warden bears?

I have used the Command Pet key (default key is Y) in the past with my sorcerer. I could target an enemy and press Y to order my pet to attack. I could also press Y to get my pet to stop attacking and be passive. I have been playing a warden and this key seems to do nothing. Can anyone please confirm that it does not work with warden pets and is intended to be this way? I would appreciate it. Thank you.

✭✭You need to hold it and press left mouse/right mouse button to attack/call back.
