To me playing vet trials or vet DLC dungeons are not fun, they're frustrating. Grinding gears too is frustrating, cos you hardly ever get what you wanted.
I do enjoy looting aspects of the game, getting a rare recipe or motifs or rare stuff for selling and accumulating my gold.
I also enjoy the random chats, and fun dungeons like fungal 1.
- feed my horse
- pat my horse
- ride out with my horse for new adventure
- look at the beauty that is Nirn
- eat a sweetroll
- Defend my sweetroll from a ashhopper that suddenly attacks
- great my guild mates and join coms
- offer them roasted ashhopper legs
- agree to meet up and head to a dungeon and try our luck
- crack open a cold one and continue our adventure
- Meet up at someone home and celebrate our fortune and perhaps sharpen our skills against a dummy
- Make a cracking joke why his boat is not at his house
- go home
- log off

Making my houses look epic not talking about I have a chair here and a bed here stuff. I use it as art as a way to express myself. The housing update is one of my favorite things added to the game and has kept me very busy since it's release. This right now is my fun.
Trading and the economy, it's really fun stacking gold!
I get you, it is satisfying, and also spending gold like there's no tomorrow, it's also fun.
I spent 4 million one day buying up all armiger and militant motifs, it's fun to be able to shop and spend like a king.
I throw mudballs at people then cherry petals because I heave no feathers.
ZoS, please add feathers to throw at people!
Mudballs are the single greatest addition to the game.
By god I hate mud balls... I don't normally wish I'll on people but I would hope which ever troll feeding *** came up with these cursed things is currently UNEMPLOYED!!!!

For me the whole game is fun, whether be it solo or in a nice friendly group even if formed randomly, and I must say that 90% of the people on PC/EU are very nice.
In solo if I find an empty zone, I farm nodes and trash and do a few random delves, all the while waiting to get qued to a dungeon to test new rotations or sets for checking sustain and mostly training my clumsy fingers. Soloing IC for TelVar while grinding my teeth (out of expectation) every time I turn a corner is fun too.
I like helping pugs out when they ask for help to complete normal dungeons, I was in a good guild before where they did trials weekly and that was one of the best group experiences I had, unfortunately taking a break from ESO for work got me out of the guild as my work took longer than expected.
This game relaxes me a lot and has me thinking all the time for various combination of skills and gear. It's like my fix of the day when I start playing in the evening after work.
- Running around and open chests
- playing dungeons and trials with friends/guildmembers
- kill people in a town by trying to steal and then smash them
- playing PvP with friends
- questing together with friend/s
- reading/writing in the forums
I love that everything is possible in ESO (although depending on people and time).
Talking smack to guildies on Discord while running Dungeons/trials/crafting/most anything. Come to think of it, just smack talking with guildies...ESO not required.
