It's not as if it's bad enough that there's already Witches festival stuff in the shops but I was in the supermarket the other day and there was already an aisle full of New Life Festival stuff too. This blatant commercialism, of our national holidays, is ruining it for the kids!

✭✭✭I agree with OP - holidays are wonderful, but tired of being surrounded by the paraphenalia for months beforehand.
To the "then you hate holidays" crowd: No, we don't shop Black Friday or on any holiday, worked too many retail jobs and never got to enjoy holidays as a family for years. Black Friday is the day we decorate for Christmas, not shop. December is hell month as my husband works 12 hours days 6 days a week, his industry is especially busy then. Christmas Day is when we relax and eat asian appetizers all day. There's no reason to buy December holiday decorations in August, nor Halloween decorations either.

✭✭✭✭✭One thing to remember, most of the stuff for the various Festivals stays in the game. All the Witches Lairs are still there, just inaccessible.
People have been selling items from the Festival all year long the pending festival return may have triggered some people to sell off more excess stuff.

like the in game holidays - whether i participate or not... irl they can be a little stressful...
